bunnyrabt's story
A cute little Batterfly was flying around the guild castle when she came across a very bothered-looking Halloween Shoyru. It was Alecksander2002. She flew up to him and asked him what was wrong and...
Alecksander2002 said, “I don’t know what happened, but I seem to have lost my Halloween costume and now there isn’t time to put together another one! The costume contest is tonight in just a few hours!”
“Tsk tsk”, chided the Batterfly. “I would imagine you were just a little bit careless with it, weren’t you?”
Alecksander2002 looked down at the ground and mumbled, “I guess I was”, all the while kicking his little foot back and forth. He was feeling very undressed indeed. For a Halloween Shoyru he wasn’t fitting the part very well at all.
The little Batterfly felt bad for poor little Alecksander2002, but really, what could a tiny Batterfly do? She could hardly make a costume big enough for Alecksander2002 in time for the costume contest. Still, she wanted to do SOMETHING to make the little guy feel better. After all, everyone always expected the Halloween pets to enter the costume contest. She told Alecksander2002 to wait in the enchanted forest by the waterfall, and that she would be back in a while. And off she flew at such a speed one could tell she was on an important mission.
Alecksander2002 wandered into the enchanted forest and sat down on a large, flat rock by the waterfall. He was feeling hopeless when he thought he heard something. It sounded like the wind was beginning to whistle through the evergreen trees. He looked up and saw that it wasn’t the wind at all. It appeared to him as though every single Batterfly in the forest was flying toward him. He didn’t know if he should be afraid or not, but he decided not to move. In fact, he was too scared to move anyway!
Leading the winged group was the same pretty little Batterfly that had told him to wait in the enchanted forest. She was carrying a small basket, as were all the other Batterflies.
“I told you I would return, and I’ve brought my family and friends to help.” And with that statement she swooped down and Alecksander2002 saw that inside the basket was a small portion of a Halloween Shoyru costume. In fact, inside ALL the baskets were pieces of a Halloween Shoyru costume. In no time at all the Batterflies swarmed all around him, chattering happily to each other and sewing the pieces of costume together, right on Alecksander2002. It was quite remarkable, and not just a little magical. Soon, Alecksander2002 looked like the absolute best Halloween Shoyru in the kingdom. He thanked the Batterflies profusely and ran as quickly as he could to enter the costume contest.
And can you guess who won???

"How come so many creatures can pull off foul pranks, and I'm too dull to come up with anything?" After Batterfly asked him why he would even want to join teenage Skeiths and Krawks who play Ding-Dong-Ditch, Alecksander explained that Aviena the Guild Guardian had gotten him good. "She played a Halloween prank on me, so I'm teeming with bottled-up revenge."
"What are we waiting for?" said Batterfly. "Meet me back here with a piece of string, a Faerie Carrot, and a bucket of Stuffed Frogs. Alecksander barely had time to ask "A Faerie what?" when Batterfly zoomed off down the hall. In fifteen minutes, they had gathered all the materials.
"Why do we need a Faerie Carrot, Batterfly?" Batterfly responded, "Simple. The one food no faerie or guardian can resist is Faerie Carrots." Pretty soon, Aviena's room could be seen to contain a Faerie Carrot on a lavish pillow. The two waited in hiding for Aviena to walk by. Then..."What's that smell?" Turning her head, "A Faerie Carrot! What luck!" Aviena said something else under her breath, which Batterfly and Alecksander did not catch, and walked straight into the room. She gobbled up the carrot. Batterfly and Alecksander jumped out. "Hey...why didn't the bucket of Stuffed Frogs fall on your head?" Alecksander asked. Aviena told the two to look up, upon which they noticed their bucket was indeed tilted and dangling from the string above the door, but it was frozen in midair. She said, "You can't fool me, Alecksander2002," and was off.
The next trick they tried proved fruitless as well...Who knew Aviena could blow out a fire just as fast as she could conjure one?
Then, two hours before midnight on Halloween, Alecks and Batterfly high-fived each other in the courtyard. "This is foolproof, Batterfly," chuckled Alecks. They peered around a bush and once again waited for Aviena. When she walked out, she was holding a large bowl of candy. "Cue monsters!" A vampire and a witch (who looked similar to two Skeiths, for some reason) hounded Aviena and grabbed the candy bowl, running off. Batterfly and Alecks ran to Aviena. "Haha, I pulled one on you! Your candy will never be seen again." Aviena laughed, and Alecks had to ask "Why are you LAUGHING?" Aviena responded, "Because, silly, that candy was for you. I felt bad that I had ruined your Halloween."
In case you wonder why I modified the post, there was supposed to be an emoticon at the end of my story and for some reason it was showing up as a J. So all I did was remove the J and add the correct emoticon...I didn't change anything else on the page at all.
