I went to the meadow today.
I walked from my home
Along the river and through the forest
I love making these trips!

It was a nifty day to do so!
I picked some ripe round oranges
I peeled one and got a squirt in my eye!

I ate one orange but I had six more
The juice's flavor fit me to a tee.
The day was hot and it was a treat!

As I lay, enjoying the day
I saw nine butter flies fly past.
The colors of the rainbow soaring over head.

The day was getting on
So I decided to head home
What a relaxing day
So much for work!
