I'm actually in the middle of writing a novel right now, so I don't have any short stories to share...Well I have poems and short stories from a couple of years ago but...I don't know.

thats really cool. Yea i have to do that too, infact i have to rewrite all i have written so far becasue when i started in grade 9 i wasnt serious aobut it i was just writing because i was bored, but i kept writing, but the first 5 chapters dont have dialogue and the story starts sorta in the middle. When im done it will likely be a trillogy. Right now im trying to find time between work to finish the glossary and add words to the language i created for it.
whats your novel about?

My novel is probably going to be in three parts, like yours. Sounds exactly what happened to my novel, I started in 9th or 10th grade , and when i re read certain parts fo it I was like, wow this is bad! Lol. SO I'm in the process of rewriting those parts.

I know, somehow, that I will write at least one book when I'm older, but at the moment I just don't have time. Also, I've got to work on my writing style, cause I'm way too descriptive - I'm trying to learn how to cut down some of the details and concentrate more on the story.

personally mystery, i love descriptive stories, that's one reason why i like the harry potter books:) Yeah but mine are the type of description that kinda overpowers you - it's fine for a short story, but needs to be cut down for longer novels, or all the poor readers get left with a headache. I've taken to writing a diary now about things that inspire/interest me that I see or think about. I do this so that later I can look back on the stuff I've written and use it in my stories. For this reason I suppose it's more of a journal - gosh, look at me blabbering on! Does anyone else do something like that?
