Ok, here's a thread for everyone to post their current favourite poems on.
Here's mine:
There was a fence with spaces you could look through if you wanted to.
An architect who saw this thing stood there one summer evening.
Took out the spaces with great care and built a castle in the air.
The fence was utterly dumbfounded each post stood there with nothing round it!

wow i like that one alot, it's good:) my fav so far is:
Life.
Life isn’t about the bad things that happen. It’s about the good things. It’s about the air in your lungs, The blood running through your veins. It’s about the feel of rain on your skin, The darkness of the sky at night, And walking across damp grass. It’s about the salty taste of the sea, The smell of honey soaked air, And balmy summer evenings. It’s about the sound of the morning chorus, The sun setting over the ocean, And crisp mountain air. It’s about the colour of roses, The sweet smoothness of chocolate, And the clarity of winter evenings. It’s about the luck of being alive, The pure chance that made you happen. Being thankful for anything and everything, No matter how small. The beating of your heart.
this is my fav so far because of the message it gives me:)

THis is one of my favorite poems, it is in a book called Shattered Mirror by Amelia Atwater-Rhodes
Cold as winter; strong as stone; She faced the darkness all alone. A silver goddess; a reflection. A mirage; a recollection. No return; no turning back. The past is gone, the future, black. Serpents gather in their nest, And she stands above the rest. Shadows hunt; she hunts the shadows. The moon is risen; she stands below. She views her world through the eyes of others. Black and white; there are no colors, As she looks down upon a shattered youth. A shattered mirror shows a shattered truth.
