hey all, I don't consider myself all that good at poetry, but this was a concrete poem I had to write for english and I thought I would post it.
It was in the shape of a flame, but I can't get it to come out that way on here. hope you guys like it.

the searing
embers of the pyre
My breath,
my fantasy,
awash in desire
Left only in madness,
consumed by the ire
Alone in the blackness
of this time so dire
Flickering, falling,
without you to inspire
Vein of my being,
my muse doth expire
Forsaken from gazing,
from loving my sire
Banished to the
burning,
kindling
fire.
