Try to touch me
Your hand will just pass through
I am just a memory
A ghost that haunts your mind
You try to forget me
But around each corner I'm there
Waiting to make you remember
All the things that you've done

Try to forget my face
It's there in everyone you see
Try to run from my foot steps
But my specter is always right behind you
Try to tune you my last words
My blood will write them on every wall
And I will kiss you in the dark
Where you cannot escape my lips of death

The memories haunt you
Making you wake up screaming in the night
The wind, it whispers the words
That makes your blood wrong cold
You will never be allowed to forget
The deeds that you did
The blood can be washed from your hands
But your soul is stained forever

So when the sun sets
I will get my revenge
No redemption for your soul
No one to save you now
My body may lie
Deep under the earth
But your madness lets me live
So you can pay the price

There is no escape from them
The demon you let your mind create
No hiding from the past that flows
Through the doors you cannot close
Your spiral into insanity
Gives me pleasure dark and deep
But nothing like the pleasure of knowing
That in your guarded, padded room
You cannot die to escape your hell

thanks, this was one of my late night musings. I woke up from a semi awake state of sleep to find the words lining themselves up in my head (something that happens quite often). I have come to sleep with a note stack beside my bed so i can write anything down if i get an idea.
