The Leaky Cauldron is just a Harry Potter website. I've been reading Jk Rowling's site all day this weekend cuz it's really interesting but i completely missed out on taking the WOMBAT's which seems like fun.

I know! I missed the WOMBATS too. There's only one more test I think..Hopefully I'll catch it this time. Oh yes, and some big news...it's not official, as it did not come directly from J.K. herself, but for those of you who thought you suspected who took the Horcrux in the 6th book... "According to Andres of HarryLatino.com, Nimbus Network is reporting that Isabel Nunes, the Portuguese translator of the Harry Potter books in Portugal, has revealed the full name of the mysterious R.A.B. who's note is discovered in the emotional climax of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. J.K. Rowling supposedly told Nunes that the full name of R.A.B. is Regulus Arcturus Black."

Yup!! I saw the article on Yahoo! and I literally gasped when they said 'Harry Potter Book 7 Title Revealed.' What do you all think of it? Thumbs up, in between, or down? I don't know much about the plotline she's going for yet, so I'm not going to judge the title until I read it.

From mugglenet.com:
"Laura Mallory to appeal yet again Gwinnett County mother-of-four Laura Mallory, who has been crusading since August 2005 to remove the Potter books from the County's school libraries, is set to appeal Georgia state's decision in December to keep the books on shelves.
Mallory said, "We will take a stand for truth, and pray God will touch the hearts of this generation." For the past year and a half, she has vehemently preached that the books indoctrinate children in witchcraft. She hasn't, however, actually read the books.
Mallory says she is poised to take legal action and has apparently received "significant donations" from "supporters" in aid of this."
This woman really doesn't know when to stop does she? The fact that she hasn't read the books also means that she can't really put together a decent case. My dad also thinks these books are bad, but he agrees that this lady should read the books so she knows what she is talking about.
I guess it seems like both my father and this lady have missed the point of these books, yes they have some magic in them, but they deal with a lot of values like friendship, bravery, honesty, etc.

hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm Loved the Harry Potter and the Order of the Pheonix, although they could've put a little more in there from the book. Absolutely loved Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows!!!!! Talk about not being able to put a book down!!! read it friday night(technically sat morning) all day sat, then for 4 hrs on sunday!!!!!! I HAD to know what was going on!!! Anyone else read it all the way through yet? I'm dying to talk to others about it but it seems those who have already read it that I know are just "blah" about it!!! I can't believe it was so long, but definitely suspensful!!!

yeah, I was the same way. I seen somewhere that Dumbledore died so it made the book that much harder to try and finish reading knowing that. I didn't even check my e-mail or talk on the phone! lol, I think it took me about 19 hours to read all together, considering I had obligations to take care of. I enjoyed it though!!! Will go back and read through it again at a slower pace now. I can't wait to buy the other six books and all the movies.

Well, I mentioned a long time ago that I wouldn't judge the title until I read the final book. I have finished it now (*squeal!*), so I can say...the title may have been...a good choice. I mean, I think the book had less to do with hallows than it did with horcruxes and all, considering Harry didn't even want the hallows. But I guess the entire journey ultimately ended centering around that, so the title was suiting, I guess.
