ok, I am not gonna read the whole topic, but what I think about them redoing all the disney songs with new singers is that it is a bad idea. I am not saying they are all bad singers, they are not, but they ARE ruining the songs. In my opinion, disney should never have redone them.

It's the whole Radio Disney age... they are adding techno beats to evyerthing and rerecording them so that 12 year old teenie boppers will like them ::shudders::

However, for xmas I did get a whole bunch of the original disney songs on CD, I am quite happy by that. and they are untainted by newage pop singers!

A few years ago... before the Radio Disney advent McDonald's had a bunch of Disney songs on CDs arranged by theme... something like Friends, Heroes, Romance and summin else or summin like that. I wonder where those CDs are...

hmm, I don't remember that, although I do remember those disney trivia scratch cards. and if you got it right, you wond a prize, like money a car or free food! I seem to remember my trivia question had something to do with alice in wonder land.

Sarah no need to get defensive! they're just speaking in general not trying to offend anyone in the guild (atleast I'd hope not) I hope they don't redo alll of the songs from Beauty and the Beast with Angela Lansberry (the teapot) I will never be able to imagine anyone redoing that song. and if they redo the songs that means they have to remake the movies and that would NOT be the same
