anyone seen any good musicals?
in torronto we saw mamma mia and hairspray and that was good and i see a musical every year with my grandparents.

I love musicals, I haven't seen any good ones lately besides the one on the old movie channels.

I haven't seen any musicals lately, though my school is performing "Darn Yankees"(the first word was a profanity word, and i wasn't sure it could be said on the boards) I did not get called back for it, which made me a little upset, but then i might still get a part in it, like the chorus or Reporter #2 or something. Not a lot of guys tried out, so they'll be handing out lesser male parts to female students... I might get one of those...I think it is a fine musical though, really great. I also love the story, and was disappointed, because I had fallen in love with the part of Meg...But oh well, my singing was a little too much off, and i have two left feet....

I love the Aladdin Musical at Disney's California Adventure. It's a really great production.

my grandma bought Catz/Cats on video and i haven't seen it in a while but it was pretty good

Phantom of the Opera!!!!!! I LOVE it. you lucky Americans STILL have it running in your country. I doubt it'll come back to Australia  oh well. When I'm rich enough I'll go overseas and see it again because I'm totally in love with it ;D |

I love the Aladdin Musical at Disney's California Adventure. It's a really great production. I saw that too, the flying carpet was very well done. But I also liked cats, which I saw on tape, and phantom of the opera, which I saw the movie version of. However, it is coming to my state in the summer and I have 5th row tickets! so happy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

I have never seen Phantom of the Oprah ( I can't remember if its ever been performed here) But would love to see it if it ever gets here. I also wanna see Fiddler on the Roof (I missed it in Dec!  I didn't have the money to get the tickets) I also wanna see Grease which is coming in July! (I'm a huge fan of grease ;D ) |

Hm....I've always been partial to Les Mis and Phantom, as overblown as they may be. I loved Aida, Rent, and Jane Eyre, liked Wicked (didn't see it, but listened to the soundtrack) and the Producers, and despised Mamma Mia and Little Women.
