Most my faves are actually local bands for me ;D
Dead Inside the Chrysalis
Angelspit
Mz Anthropik (although they just split up about a week ago the lead singer is ging to keep goin. yey for me!)

Its awesome liking local bands because you actually get to meet them and they all seem like awesome peoples. Oh these are legit local bands. They're not just local bands that hang around for about a month then dissapear. They'll be big in the underground scene one day because they're awesome.

String Theory - is another local one that's pretty good
Ikon - They're internationally renown now but not my fave.
