Kevin Richardson has left the Backstreet Boys. The announcement came via the band’s website and Kevin’s MySpace page this weekend. The remaining members of the group say they have no plans to replace Richardson, but they say they will go ahead with their plans to record a new album this summer.

That is so sad! I mean Kevin wasn't a huge part in the group, but not having an original BSB just isn't right!

You can call me a big BSB fan too...lol. I've liked em from the early days. That is sad...Like all bands, they were destined to break up..and I actually think Kevin was a big part of the group..they all were. But like you said cutie, the group is just never going to be the same.

Ouch! That cuts me deep Kris! They were just on hiatus while they had babies and got married, and while Aj cleaned up from his drug addiction. But I hope no more of them split... solos is fine, but really leaving the band....

Um... well, I really have no clue when it comes to the music world, I only know American Idol people like Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood lol. So, um, I dunno much about BSB.

lol i used to be like a HUGE fan when i was a lil kiddie like kinder days or something lol. i had like all of their cds. up to the greatest hits one i think. i kinda outgrew them, and well they kinda died like n'sync. but i liked some of their new songs like incomplete and ....oh well i forgot the other one hahaha
