Hi i just joined today and was wanting to know about a few things. I read the Rules page and looked at jobs and stuff but what i dont understand is why you have people make discount shops for stuff that is way too expensive for most people to even buy every other day but that is your thing we can talk about it later. The other thing is about ranks, what are the qualifications other than just being an active member and helping out. If that is it then cool but it kinda left me out to sea without a paddle.Seems to be a great guild though and i like the help from the guild site.

First of all, welcome aboard! We're all very glad that you decided to join. I know you'll love it here, and, though it can be confusing sometimes, you'll get the hang of it in no time. The discount shops are usually our galleries as well, we price the items at 100,000 np and above so that non-members won't snatch them up. if you want to make a purchase.... neomail the owner of the shop, they will then determine the amount of the item from the shop wiz, apply your discount (usually determined by your rank) and as long as you're active, they will set it up in trades for you where your junk item is returned when the trade is processed. in response to your question about ranks, please look at what stargem83 posted in dlfreak.proboards32.com/index.cgi?board=generalguild&action=display&thread=1108946563it is a quote from the guild website. well im glad to know more about how that works but it costs so much to keep it open how do they. We have so many members they cant make much because it is all discounted...My point is that jobs dont seem to be worth it except for the research jobs.

oh, it's worth it, you can always have other items in your shop and you do get paid 1000 per week for it. I used to have a size 36 plushie discount shop and the whole time i had it i only had like 4 purchases from it. you basically earn money for what you'd already be doing. and the discounts are whatever you want them to be, but a minimum of 10% which really isn't much when you think about it, because you only have to give a 5% discount on extrememly valuable items. You'll still make more money off of it than you'll lose, plus you help out other members. These shops are also used for the guild guardian quests.

no, you only sell to active members... so if you see that they're a light breeze or whirlwind, check to see if they're members of this board, then you can see their number of posts here and also check to see the most recent 10 posts of that person so you've got an idea of how active they are..... that's what i do unless of course i know the person

 well thats kinda wierd that you havent been getting paid but id like to thank everyone for the nice welcome ive read just about every guild page...except on boards but im just worried im too active for just joining. i have played for about 4 years now and im homeschooled so i get burnt out on stuff pretty quick so i have to try something new almost constantly so just tell me if im too overbearing. thanks

He's very busy, and there's a lot that he has to do each week, so he can't remember everything. But once you remind him, he always gets right on it, usually in the order that he recieved them. I feel sorry for him on sundays  he's so busy! Anyway, I doubt you'll come acrossed as over-bearing, you're just curious how everything works, and that's a great thing! You've come to the right place! |

Welcome to the guild! It sounds like you're going to be an active member. And don't worry about getting bored...there's always something going on around here, and lots of new posts to keep track of every day. BTW, when you went to the guild website, did you happen to look around in the castle? It has lots of rooms, and some of the Magic Clouds have their own special ones.

well what i meant by bored is that neopets turns into the same repetitive thing sometimes and that gets boring but im trying to stay with it this time.im saving for a lab map and already have 80k i know its not alot for what i want but 10k is my average ;D
