Hey everyone, man, stay inactive in the guild for 6 months, and everyone is new haha. I used to know everyone here, not anymore haha. So for those of you who dont' know me, I'm Matt (mcalnan). I've been here just over two years. I was on council for about 8 months, before I decided that I would step down, because I just couldn't be active in the guild. I've played volleyball for team canada U-16 team, and I just LOVE SPORTS! I've decided to end my volleyball years(at least team canada volleyball), because of an incident I had. I captained the team, and we were playing at the world juniors in italy, and I got ejected from the game because of my conduct towards an official, and the organizing comittee asked me to stop playing for canada, or they would get an order to make me leave, so that's why I left haha. I've gone back a few times, just to help out in coaching the U-16 Alberta team, and helped out BC a bit in their U 14 division, and that's all just coming to an end, so I've decided with all my free time, I'd come back to the guild. Sorry this was so long, just thought I'd give you a bit on me! Anyways good to see everyone again, and nice to see all the new faces!

hi and glad your back..you don't have to know much or have to have been here long to know you were here at one time. you are a guild legend....especially with the EXTREMELY generous guild donation you made.
isn't it ironic....they teach you to be so (gosh its late..lost for the word i want) oh yeah, aggressive when you are in sports but.....you can't be aggressive when they don't want you to be that way...so i say anyone that stands up for themselves is not in the wrong...and anyone who stands up for something they believe in isn't wrong...but it was wrong for them to do what they did to you..but glad it gave you more time to be here.

MATT!!!!!! glad you've got the time to come back... sorry about the circumstances though! I played volleyball in high school, so I know how those blasted officials can get!  anyway, talk to you soon! |

Hey Matt...  Think you left right as I joined or something...(did I smell???  ) But, I've seen ya around a couple times. I'm Becky....(that's probably pretty obvious from my screen name, but thought I'd mention it anyways...lol) Good to officially "meet" ya though. |

Sorry to hear about that...but on a brighter note you have more time to spend on here! Haha, you may not know everyone but everyone's heard of you...Glad to see you around again. Pretty soon all the new faces (names, whatever..lol) will be familiar. |

Hey, mcal!! I'm absolutely thrilled that you are back being active again!!
Just so everyone knows, when I first joined the guild, Matt (besides dl) was the one who neomailed me, answered my questions, and was just generally helpful and kind to me. He was instrumental in my overall opinion of the guild, and I appreciated it immensely.
The guild is really going to benefit from having you around again. ;D
