Hey everyone! I joined this guild earlier today, and i want to find out how i can be a proactive member. This guild looks like it would be a wonderful place to hang out once i get the hang of it. Any pointers?

Hello, bunnylady! Welcome to the guild. To answer your question, the best way to become active in the guild is to participate in the message board. It will take some time for you to get familiar with all the different threads, and it isn't necessary to read ALL of them. (that would take forever!) But you might want to start with the Guild General thread. The kickback cafe area is where the members post things of a personal nature, so you can get to know the members there. Just read read read, and then post when you have something to say. Also, it's possible to modify your posts, so if you have a little something to add, just modify the previous post and add it instead of making a second post. That's a nifty little quirk on the board that comes in handy and keeps it neater. The other thing you might want to do is visit the guild website, which can be accessed by the link at the top of this page on the right. Read through the rules pages and just spend some time looking around the site. Being active just sorta comes naturally as you get to know how things are done. There's no rush, no one expects you to know everything right off the bat.  Glad you joined us, and if there is anything I can help you with feel free to pm. |

welcome to the guild bunnylady! we're thrilled that you chose us out of all the other guilds available (though we're the best... hehehe) like bunny said, if there's anything that you need feel free to pm me or neomail me if you prefer, but she pretty much covered most of everything..... and believe me, these boards can be very very intimidating and i've been here since the first, so i can just imagine what it's like to look at everything now  anyway, don't be a stranger and talk to you soon! ~Linds |

Welcome to the guild, bunnylady!!! Everyone's SUPER nice here, you'll quickly learn.... if you have ANY questions at all, you can send me (or anyone, really!) a personal message. And you should definitely check out the guild website... dlfreak does all the artwork and layouts for the site, and it's really great! Anyways, welcome and enjoy yourself!!!

Welcome to the guild, bunnylady! It's great to hear that you're interested in being an active guild member...it's always fun to see more of those members join. Anyway, there's not really a set definition for being active here..you can participate in any way you want, really...If you're interested in what other guild members have to say and you want to talk too, these boards are great to read whatever topics you want and comment with your own response. I know a lot of people enjoy the theme weeks we have..where there are themed activities and quests for a week. Or you could apply for a guild job...there's lots to do, take your pick.  |
