i hope this doesn't come off rude..but i tend not to add people i don't know unless they are guild members. between neopets, my kids and my friends i don't have a lot of time to talk to people other than that. i hope you understand. its not that i don't want to get to know her i just don't have time for lenghty conversations with people just to have conversations. bunny and lindsey are my two best friends here at the guild not to mention star, tanzi and a few others i am sure i am too tired think of who i talk to on im ( cause lol i haven't had time lately to talk to them) well lindsey when we can't sleep and are up at 2 am. but anyway i would love for you to add me. thanks for understanding

Hi Keely...I know we've already spoken but I saw your thread and wanted to formally welcome you to the guild. I'm kinda like Fairy, as you know, because I wouldn't add you until I knew you were a guild member. Here is a suggestion for your friends who would also like to be added...have them sign up for Neopets and join the guild. That way they can meet people here on the boards. A lot of us just don't have the time to chat much on yahoo or messenger because some of us are older with families, husbands, children, jobs, etc. But that doesn't mean we are being unfriendly if we don't want to chat when we are messaged. On this forum we can chat back and forth when we have time, so maybe that would be a good place for your other friends to start. They could join Neopets, join the boards, post a thread here in the introduction thread, and then meet guild members that way. Posts here are read by more people anyway, than just chatting privately, and it might mean they (and you) could meet more people than just on messenger. |
