Does anyone here like foreign films? I know I'm kinda weird with this one, but just thought I'd go for it I'm a huge Bollywood fan (among other foreign film industries), and I know there's at least one other person in here who likes it. batool786 commented on my welcome message that she loved B-wood, but I haven't really seen her around much. Anyway, I just want to say, ladies, if you're ever looking for a great chick flick, Bwood is the way to go So am I totally alone on this one, or have other people come to the realization that people are missing out on some great movies if they only watch ones from their own country?

Mama There's a Man in Your Bed is a GREAT flick... it's a 15 year old French flick which despite the way it sounds is NOT pornographic.
If you can find it I highly recoommend it. Here's a synopsis:

I'll have to check that one out, DL (thank goodness for Netflix!). Two of my favorite French films are 'Jean de Flourette' and 'Manon of the Spring.' If you rent them, get them together, because once you finish the first you're gonna want to pop the next one in as soon as you can!! Raz, who's your favorite actor/actress/movie? I am totally in love with Aamir Khan, and Lagaan is one of my top five favorite films from any country! *feels warm and fuzzy inside* glad to know I'm not alone

"Amor Es Perros" was ok from what I remember and I saw Chapter seven of Decaloque which is a Polish modernized version of the Ten Commandments. It's not religious... the one I saw was called though Shalt Not Steal and it was about a girl raised by her grandmother as her mother and her real mother was supposedly her sister then the real mom decides to run off with her daughter but... well you'd have to see it.

haha, SRK is fun, I'll admit (even though I'm staying loyal to aamir ). I have KHNH and K3G and watch them endlessly! They're good medicine for a bad day. Have you seen Kuch Kuch Hota Hai? I love love love that movie...it's so good! And I love all the songs in the movies, too. I even got my roommate into it and she loves it, too! haha...her favorite ppl are SRK and Kajol (who doesn't love them together?) and Hritick Roshan (sp?). Thanks for the French film suggestions, DL and raz...I'll check 'em out! Another of my favorites is 'Diabolique' which is like a murder mystery, but the last 5 minutes has like 3 twists one right after the other and it's so great! I always am freaking out...haha, I get really into it ;D

I like films like Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon; Hero, oh and the Passion of the Christ was good. Are those considered foreign films? If not sorry. *Sheepish smile*

I love Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon and I really want to see Hero (those are both foreign). Passion I think is up for debate because it is in another language, but it was produced in this country. I think technically it isn't, but close enough I haven't seen that one either...looked a little too violent for me to stomach.

Hero was really good, you should definitely see it. The Passion of Christ was also, but I guess i can understand if it's not your kind of movie.
