well, i'm sure everyone knows that a couple of weeks ago i spent 5 days in the hospital for preterm labor.... i was released on the 4th and tonight i went back in cuz of contractions that have lasted for over a day non stop
they did send me home after 4 hours of observation because i'm still dilated to a 3 and that is what i was friday at my dr's apt
unfortunately it looks like i'm not having her yet, but my contractions have yet to stop and are gradually getting more intense and closer together so i figured i would let everyone know just in case i don't show up for a couple of days or whatever that i'm probably in the hospital again

good luck lindsey! don't forget to call me before going in the hospital...not sure if i will be at the beach or not...but i still want to know what has happened while i was gone and knowing how to reach you. you know i will be wondering and thinking about ya while i am away!

Take care, sweetie, and no jumping up and down.  Get plenty of rest so that when your contractions DO get going you'll have some strength to deal with it. I'm glad you have a doctor who admits you to the hospital when things happen, instead of just telling you to hang out at home and see how it goes. Seems like your medical care is being seen to very diligently. Keep us posted!!! |

I know how you feel hun! Hang in there, she will get here when she's suppose to! Remember tobin? she didn't want to wait! I will try to call you this weekend to see how you all are doing!

i just got home from the beach and lindsey had left a message on my answering machine she has gone to have the baby..this was wednesday so not sure when pipper was born!!!! i can't reach her at the moment by phone but gonna keep trying  |

Aww that is so good!
So the baby's name is Piper? My "Grandma's" grandson just became a father about 9 months ago and they named the girl Piper.

well at first she was naming her shyla...i finally had to tell her i didn't like that name especially with the other girls names...well its not that i didn't like it but the other names were so much cutier..she didn't care for it that much either lol and she did like the name piper and i loved that name so she changed it...not sure why she was gonna go with shyla when she didn't even like it as much as she did piper.....but anyway i just got off the phone with her...they transfered her to kansas city hospital because the baby will be slightly premature and they are the closest hospital that has a prenatal unit....but still no baby and she is NOT happy lol..bless her heart! she is having a really tough time. anyway i will keep you semi updated but leave her some to talk about too cause i am sure she will love telling her story |

I know she will be glad when the baby is here..finally. My daughter-in-law's best friend's name is Piper. I think it's a cute name.
Maybe we'll hear something soon.

well i try and call her every night because poor thing..she is bored to tears..having a horrible time and also to check on everything...if anyone would like to call her i am sure she will have plenty to say lol... her number is 913-588-5621 this is a direct line to her room. they still haven't induced her labor and she is having contractions but not dilating or anywhere close to having this baby..she is at her wits end! not to mention the hospital she is at is the closest one to her home (which is still 2 hours away) with a premie unit..or neonatal for those of you that know the term.

Aww I feel so bad for her! That must really suck! She has been in the hospital for almsot what 2 days... and nothing! I haven't had to go through labour before (thank goodness) but I feel bad for her none the less. Just wait till that baby gets here though! |

well, the hospital kinda wized up and brought me a computer so i can surf alittle, it's uncomfortable howi sit so i'll keep this short, i'm still stuck in the stinking hospital, still no baby and the drs still can't make up their minds what's going on.... they have no clue about anything so they aren't letting me go anywhere, not even a transfer back to pittsburg..... i'm about to have one major hissy fit over here...i'll try to keep you all posted, but they are keeping me drugged with benadryl... anyway, hope to be home soon and talk to you all later

I ended up not calling after all because after I read about the benedryl I was afraid I would wake her up! And I will be gone all tomorrow...so maybe I will try on Tuesday.
If you get back on your hospital issue pc soon (lol) just know I'm thinking about you and definitely sympathizing!!! (Mitch took FOREVER to get going...kinda what you're doing although I didn't have to stay at the hospital) Sooner or later...Piper has got to make an appearance! Take care.

i never got to call her tonight either but after a relaxing weekend without kids they came home and wore me out and i am going to bed myself! anyway those doctors were sooo smart giving her that computer lol i was afraid she was gonna punch out their lights...now she will be content well as content as she can be..i know she is ready to get out baby or not....and go back when its time and not have to continue sitting there...lol i still can't believe she got a puter in that room..i told the kids about it and they laughed so hard
