In case you wonder why I haven't been on a lot lately, my computer decided to be difficult and not load Windows. I never shut the darn thing off, but it was lightening and for a change I thought I would be safe and shut it down. Big mistake! lol Oh it was down all right. AND it wouldn't come back up. So Kari was in town and picked it up and took it home so Mitch could work on it. It's working fine now, except he said I needed to replace the heatsink fan on my graphics card before I used it much, or my card would overheat and be history. No one in Crawfordsville retail seemed to have a clue as to what I was talking about and kept trying to sell me a general cooling fan. (there's a surprise) So, I had to order one from Newegg.com. The tracking number says it should probably be here on Monday, and once I install that I'll be back in business. Right now I'm using Art's computer, which I CAN do...but it's just not like mine. (not even close) It makes me crazy to use it. So I'm just kinda taking a sort of vacation from computing. I'll be on now and then until I get my computer running, but not as much as usual.
If you need me for something, leave a pm, and I will check them every day at least once.

Well, I don't know that much about computer programming... so I dont' know what the heck you were talking about... but I do know that your computer is messed up or something, so that's all that matters. ;D Hope it gets fixed soon.  |

well, doesn't that just bite and here when we were talking you were liek "well, i better go, it's lightening now" and look what happens..... i'm so sorry to hear all this, hopefully mitch will have it fixed for you really soon and let's hope ups doesn't do to you with this package what happened with the one you sent me  talk to you later! |

Yeah...remember how conscientious I was being that night?? lol Never again. The darn thing can just stay on and take it's chances. SO FAR the package is being sent to the right place. Usually Newegg is really good about getting things out really quickly, so I'm looking for it to get here tomorrow. Mitch got the problems with Windows fixed in like TWO SECONDS. That's after I tried for ohhhh....maybe a couple of HOURS. lol I guess he learned something in college after all!  Anyway, Art's computer just plain makes me crazy. His chair isn't comfortable for me, and his keyboard is so unlike mine. I have a wireless one and wireless mouse and I feel like I'm in the darkages in here! Plus, this is my old monitor that makes my eyes hurt. Just not good all the way around. On top of all that I have to use webmail instead of Outlook. GRRRRRRR....can you tell I'm just about at the end of my rope?? Not to mention a certain someone is being a pain in the rear...or as Kari says, just being Art. lol Oh well...surely things will be back to normal soon. |
