Hey guys, I'm going to have to be gone for a few days again. I just got a call from Cayden's pediatrician and he wants us to come up for another visit, since it's 2 hours away, I'm going to stay Sunday night at my mother's house and we will drive up on Monday since she lives closer. The doctor told me to pack a bag, just in case, because he may want to put him in the hospital for a day or two. Cayden had finally put on almost a half pound, but is slowly losing it again an ounce at a time. So they want to evaluate him, so I may be back Monday night, but if they keep him in the hospital for a day or two, I will be back at the latest Wednesday night. I just wish they would find out already why he's losing the weight. I'm really starting to believe that they will never find a reason. These trips really wear us all out, especially Cayden, since he's the one getting poked and prodded. I will be leaving sometime Sunday afternoon.

Well we got home finally late tonight! We found out that Cayden has what they call an Innocent Heart Murmur, which essentially means that there is nothing wrong with him, he will be a normal child, doesn't need a special diet and doesn't need to be pampered, although I do that anyway! It will go away on it's own with age and will not give him any problems! I should have the results of his sweat test tomorrow and while we were there they ran a catheter on him to get some urine for samples, my poor baby. He really had a rough day full of tests. But luckily we found out that he's got a healthy heart! I believe that he will be just fine, cuz he doesn't have any symptoms of Cystic Fibrosis, other than Failure to Thrive. Which is his weight loss. But that's a whole other can of worms! He's where he should be developmentally, so I don't really think, at this point, that they are going to say why he lost some weight and is having trouble putting it back on, I just think that maybe he's got a high metabolism. The cardiologist said that sometimes they can't pinpoint the reason for it, and that the child is still healthy and from what he saw of Cayden, he looked pretty healthy to him. Just small for his age. Thanks for listening! I can babble on and on about my children sometimes!
