Hey guys,
For the past two days I've been backing up my computer hard-drive. At least once a year I like to completely back-up all my content and reformat the computer just to keep it clean and running smoothly. And just to stay organized with all my stuff. A spring cleaning for the computer, if you will.
Anyway, I have gigs and gigs of stuff to burn on to CD and since a disc only holds 700 megs of content you can imagine it's taking a long time to back everything up! So far I'm like on disc 20 and I still have about 10 more discs to burn!
However, I am being much more thorough with this putting stuff that I don't need on seperate discs so that they'll be on disc and not take up space on my hard-drive (and space on more CDs when I reformat again in a year)
I'll probably finish burning the rest of the CDs tomorrow or the day after and once that is complete I'm going to reformat the computer which itself takes about two hours. Then, after that, I'm going to be copying content from CDs back onto my hard-drive. Have I lost you yet? hehe.
So with that in mind, my appearances online may be sporadic as I try to get all of this done. It shouldn't really prevent me from coming online except for when I'm actually reformating the computer but just in case it's been a while since you've seen me online, that's what happened! I'm expecting probably one full day of me missing which really probably won't even be noticeable.
So for the next few days there won't be much in the way of updates or anything (obviously) but I do have a few things planned immediately to add to the castle. I've figured out where the 3rd and 4th meditation rooms are going to go and I'm going to update a few of the rooms on the ground level as they currently do not match 100% with the layout of the castle.
I keep pushing it back but I think in the coming week I may FINALLY release that "experimental protocol" for traveling around the castle as easy as clicking a room on a blueprint! The guardians have been having the hardest time with making sure the technology works and they want it to work perfectly.
You're out of luck though if you're expecting to find out where all the secret passages are on the blue-prints. They will not be shown on the castle maps. ALTHOUGH, looking at the blue-print you may be able to piece together where some of the passages are hidden but you won't be able to travel to them from them. You'll have to wander around the castle yourself and try to find them.
Also, I am going to be redrawing/reconfiguring the guild city. Last year, the file I had of the guild city corrupted leaving me unable to make any changes to the city. I still have the image but not the actual image file that I could edit. So I thought that I would just redraw the city and make it reflect our newer more advanced guild in terms of the buildings and locations on it. I'm also going to tweak the look of the castle just a bit.
