well my sister was definately one..miss perfection but when she got married i was too young to help out with like showers and such and most certainly not responsible enough to depend on..she is 10 years older than i and i was like in high school..especially for someone who is a perfectionist. but good luck with all you have going on

I've never had to deal with a bridezilla myself. When I got married, I did all the planning myself, except for the bridal shower, but I kept everything simple. I didn't really want a big wedding and it seemed like everything got messed up at the last minute, but I had family there that are quick thinkers and were able to get everything back on track. My colors were hunter green and burgandy ( I really wanted hunter green and purple, but my husband isn't a fan of purple). When Warren went to pick up the tuxes for him and his best man the ties were a totally different color green (teal) and I was freaking out, but my Aunt Billie use to plan weddings and she actually made my cake, since we were having a country style wedding, she ran home real quick and just got some black ribbon and made some western style bow ties. It really looked good. Be prepared for any misfortunes! You can plan and plan and plan, but there's always going to be something that you can't control. Good luck getting everything in order! After doing some hunting, I finally found the only two wedding pictures I have anymore (long story there): This is us getting ready to cut the cake that my Aunt Billie made. The ties she made for the guys turned out great! This was me and Warren with some of my best friends at the time, they were my ushers.

When I got married (well had my ceremony) I had almost no say in planning my wedding so I can't help you there.

the guys loved getting to wear their jeans! half way through the ceremony i was wishing i had worn mine! but i was wearing my cowboy boots under that dress! This is my first marriage, but Warren's second, and he said when he got married the first time, he had to wear the whole tux and he didn't even get to wear his cowboy hat. I'm not normally one to wear a dress, so i comprimesed by wearing the dress if i could wear my boots! As soon as the ceremony was over and the pictures had all been took, I hurried to the dressing room to change into my jeans! The place where we got married was also the place where we had our first date! It was a dance hall that was where everyone would meet up at here in hickville!

I'm really good at bachelorette parties.... We've had a few in the last five years and they've all been a blast! I just did the decorations for a bridal shower last Sunday afternoon. It wasn't a traditional shower...the bride wanted an open house instead, and the guys could come too. No games, so that was a bit different too. I loved your wedding pictures, Tanzi....even if you only have two they are really pretty. I like your theme, and your dress and your cake were beautiful!
