Past two weeks

Sorry everyone for the lack of activity on my part the past two weeks... we had to house sit the past two weeks while nfty's parents were out of the country so it didn't leave a whole lot of time for me to really get on and do much.

Progress on the site design is still coming along slowly but surely. I'm trying to make it as perfect as can be which is why it's taking so long. In that regard, I don't think I'll have time to make a new Halloween theme week so when our Halloween Theme week starts next week it will last until Halloween Night and if all goes well hopefully I'll be able to upload the new version of the Silver Lined Clouds!

Yes you heard me... Halloween theme week coming NEXT WEEK! AND the redesigned sign launching after that!

Putting up the new site after Halloween also gives me plenty more time to go through it and make sure everything is silvertastic. Then by the time the Holidays roll around I'll have plenty of time to get that theme week calibrated to our new site! And of course, before that, we can't relaunch our guild website without some sort of celebration so a week or two after Halloween we'll be celebrating with another "theme" week (the theme's not really changing, it's just a big celebration) to commemorate the newly redesigned site!

It's been way too long since we've had action in the guild I can't believe our last one was last Christmas. I love Halloween though so I can't let this tradition slide. Unfortunately, last year's Halloween theme week graphics were lost in my hard drive crash so unless I have some time to draw up some new ones, we might just have to recycle the ones from two years prior. Still, I'm excited.

theme weeks are always loads of fun...lots of activities to participate in...just fun stuff...ironically i think halloween was my first theme week i ever participated in...i joined in feb...but there had to be a theme week before the halloween or maybe it was the first theme week i won something for.

Eeek! I'm pumped for the Halloween theme week. It does feel like forever since we've had one, so I'll be sure not to let this one slip under me.
