You do have to sign up for a login, but it's free, and as long as you don't check any of the offers, you won't get a bunch of baloney you don't want in your inbox. After you sign in, you can play around with different ornaments, greenery, stockings, and even a Christmas puppy! It's a lot of fun! |

I can't get to the right screen. I click on get started when you're a BHG member and then it makes me order the magazine and i don't want to. Help!

That is just a pop up box trying to get you to order. If you wait for it to fully load you will see the word "close" at the top of that box. Just click it and it will go away, and then you can register on the site (which is totally FREE) so you have a login and a password. After that you can move all around the site, and you can go to the holiday decorating area. It won't cost you anything, and you don't have to take the magazine. |

no. its not a pop up window. i closed that one. on the screen that comes up when i click on the link its right. then i click on BHG.com members lets get started here. then it takes me to a page with only a place to subscribe to the magazine. i couldn't find the decorating a virtual christmas tree anywhere else on the site

Have you registered on the site? If you haven't, you need to click on the new member registration part. If you are registered it will say your name at the top of the screen...like it says Hello Susan! when I go to the site. I was just there doing another room to send as an e-card and it worked just fine for me. It's so fun too...I wish you could get on.

You only have to register on the site, and that is free. Read carefully and you'll see that you don't have to sign up for any magazines or anything else that costs. All you have to do is fill in the form and select a password and then you have full access to the site for free. No cost at all.

yeah just check no on all the offers and continue through the site when registering and you'll get to the tree. just keep refusing the offers if you get any.. I had fun decorating mine I enjoyed it, I wish my tree could look as good but its still really nice just not as glamorous as the one online:) |

How fun! Especially since I don't have a real tree to decorate (we have no room in our apartment for one. All of our presents are in one of our armchairs in the "living room".) |
