Like to use a colored font when you post but hate having to use the coding every single time? Well now you don't have to worry. If you edit your profile, you will now see, under the Signature box, a box to set your font settings. Now whenever you post, your post will automatically be converted to those font style specifications that you choose! Do note, however, that this only works for Quick Reply. If it doesn't work for you, try closing down all your browsers and reopening. If it still doesn't work, try deleting your cookies. If it still doesn't work, let me know. Feel free to test it out in this thread!

Okay, this is my new font!
I was going to just modify my post right above, but it wouldn't change to the new font in the modification. So I had to start another post underneath it for the font to show up.
I think it matches my Bixabo avi very nicely. Thanks dl!!!!
ahhhhh.....I see that you have to make sure all your letters are inside the first statement. Or else they are back to normal. So new paragraphs don't go into the auto-font. Still....even if you have to go back up and insert text it's still nice.
Okay, I just reread your first post, dl, about it only working in quick reply. I didn't use quick reply...just regular reply. And it did automatically change my font until I started a new paragraph. So now I'm wondering if it works on new paragraphs in the quick reply. However, it's time for me to go to bed since it's going on 1:30 so I'll have to experiment with the quick reply tomorrow.

Yeah, you just need to make sure that your text is within the font brackets.

It did, but now it isn't. I never use quick reply so the first time I used it was on a regular reply. I guess I'll have to start using quick reply if I want it to work. Don't know why it did at first. Odd.

That's weird. Maybe a different browser? I haven't tested in Explorer.

^Snazzy, huh?
I just wanted to add...
Whenever you make changes to your profile, you need to reselect your font preferences or it will reset to nothing.
Also, if you're on a different browser when you made your selections, you'll need to select them again--the way this feature works is by information stored in cookies. So that also means if you delete your browser history/cookies you'll also need to change it again.
Still all of those negative side effects aside, I think it's a pretty neat feature.

Ah...that just answered my questions. My special font had disappeared...I deleted my cookies and temp. internet files. Now that I know, I'll just update my profile when I clean up my files. Also, I'll have to make sure I do it on all my computers, right?

Correct. Each computer stores a different cookie. It's just like saving a password on your computer, if you do that.
