And then there's me. I may be the Queen of the NiteOwls! lol
Oh...I was talking to my friend Beth again today, telling her about Cash, and she said Lucy ate the couch, AND the chair, AND the woodwork between the living and dining room! I forgot about all that! lol But, Lucy didn't have three kids to play with like Cash does.
They do make weewee pads that you can buy. We used them after Cissy's surgery until she was totally back to normal. She had a hard time making it from the crate to the back door at first, but she's fine now. That's the only time I've ever used a crate, and that was because we had to keep her still after her surgery. I know lots of people like crates, but I don't. I've only had Cocker Spaniels and my Golden Retriever, and they were all really easy to train. I paper trained my very first puppy, and that worked for him. You just keep moving the paper closer to the door, and then making the paper smaller, and eventually the paper just disappears and they get the idea to go to the door. There are lots of different methods. I guess it just depends on what works best for you. The rest of them I just took out every two hours or so. But if someone works that's hard to do.

well i can say he likes the bell on the door lol buttttttt...he uses it to his advantage...if we aren't paying him enough attention..he goes and hits the bell and atleast we take him outside. ask beth if their dog ever grew out of this behavior lol...i am hoping it was a puppy thing!!!! and no the kids play with the puppy for all about 5 minutes then get bored with him! my oldest is not a dog person...he resents the dog is inside and his cat is outside..even though it was shaggys idea to live outdoors..once he caught his first squirrel he has had no use for living inside. oh yeah lol Bunny is a night owl too!!!!

I don't think Lucy has eaten anything for a while now. She still has lots of energy though. They have two other, smaller dogs. They all play together which helps keep Lucy busy. She's well out of the puppy stage now.
I miss having a puppy. They do the cutest things! Cis still has a very sweet puppy-like appearance though, and she's five, so I guess she can be my puppy.

This is Bandit after getting groomed. He won't look like this long. He weighs about 40 lbs. and I couldn't pick him up unless I absolutely had to.
