I know this contest is ending today... but how do you make rooms for your pets?  Where is this option... as far as dressing them and stuff. you have to pay real money to do that right?? |

If you click on Shops at the top of a Neopets page, it'll take you to the main shops page. There's a whole section of links at the top of this page; one of them says Closet, another one says Neohomes. Click on Closet to get to your wearables (clothes you can choose to put on your Neopets), if you have previously stored any wearable items in your closet.
Click on Neohomes to go to your Neohome. From there you can click Arrange Furniture to adjust furniture in rooms.
For both your Closet and Neohome, you can't dress your Neopets or arrange furniture until you've added items to the closet or to a room in your Neohome. You can do this from your Inventory.
There are a ton of nice wearables that you do have to pay real cash for by buying a Neocash card (they're available at Target). But there are also ones you can just buy with neopoints. All furniture (as of now, anyway) is only bought with neopoints.

Okay. I'm really confused. Where do you post the themes for each month, so that we can enter, because I completely missed August!
I honestly think you should extend the deadline to at least two weeks, because you said in the forum here that you supposedly start and end things the first and seventh of each month. That's really not enough time. It's probably why there aren't that many people entering.
Anyway, I'm just really confused. I mean, maybe this whole neohome spotlight thing needs a little bit more clarification for us slowpokes like me.

Fairy and I are discussing another method of doing the monthly showcase. She's gone this weekend, but when she gets back you can expect some kind of changes that will make things clearer. Sorry for the confusion. This is a new activity for the guild, and sometimes we have to work out some kinks.  |

Fairy has decided she needs a break from doing this thread, and I've been asked to step in during that time. Don't worry, though, Fairy's not disappearing! She just has a lot on her plate right now, so I'm just helping out to lighten her load. First order of business, from now on you'll need to email your submissions to my email address. Here's my address: gaia@q.com Secondly, if devin wants to, i feel that since devin did complete her submission in time, I should post the two garden entries we had this month for you to vote on in order to keep the contest fair for everyone. I'll let you all know for sure what will happen as soon as I hear what devin wants to do. However, I want to make this very clear that the only reason I'm doing this is that devin's submission was unfortunately lost in the mail. I will be strictly following the deadlines from this point out.  Everyone's entries need to be emailed to me by the end of the 7th of each month. I will post them for you to vote on every 8th of the month. The voting will be open for one week, at the end of which time the winner will be announced and the theme for next month revealed! Any questions, feel free to ask. Thirdly, the contest theme for October hasn't changed, so start your spooky halloween decorating everyone! Oh, and FYI I put a double of this post in the Neohome Spotlight Rules thread, but I wanted to do a separate one to make sure everyone sees this. Have a terrific day everyone! Can't wait to see what you come up with. Remember, just decorate according to what you like. It doesn't matter if you feel like you're not that creative....practice makes perfect, right? Thanks for taking this over, Autumn. I think it's a good feature and I'm glad you're going to oversee it. Like you said, Fairy needs a bit of a break from this since she has her other threads going too.
