Oh, those first birthdays are so exciting!!! I can remember Mitch's like it was yesterday. I did his cake in a clown and balloon theme, and we had a clown come to the party and bring him helium balloons.
Graci's first birthday (my grandbaby) was July 18th. Her party was all pink and yellow...very girly.
What are you planning for your special girl's day?

She loves watching Blue's Clues, so we got customized Blue's Clues invitations and I'm making a Blues Clues cake following a template I found online. She's so excited! My husband and I are going to surprise her that morning with a personalized Blue's Clues T Shirt.

Well... sorta from scratch... I did buy cake mixes, cuz my from-scratch-cakes always sink a little in the middle. No idea why that happens.
