Hey everyone. Actually my birthday sucked....but anyway....thanks for the birthday wishes. Been going through a lot lately (school, divorce, friends letting me down) but I should be ok soon, I hope. I should be coming on the boards soon.

sorry to hear that lifes not being good to you kris...i know how you feel..been there done it all too...and its hard...they say we are all in charge of our own happiness and i agree but no one tells you how to find that happiness...but as i have lived through tragic event after tragic event....i stopped looking for the bad thats in my life and focused on the good things in my life and its helped me so much...everyday no matter how bad its been or which friend is letting me down this week..i look at..i have my family..everyone is alive and doing ok...i have a roof over my head and am able to feed my children...and then nothing else in the world matters...we often over look the good because we take it for granted...
if i were to sit here and tell you my life story of disappointments and heartbreaks..you as many of my friends who do know would be astonished in me still being sane...and for a long time i fought depression because i never felt like my life wasn't full...until i remembered the blessings i really do have in life.
your depressed about school? why? you should feel fortunate your able to go to school...
your depressed about a divorce..why? you should be thankful your not stuck in a marriage that is less than perfect for you both
your depressed about friends letting you down...lol thats the easiest one...choose other friends..no one says you have to stay friends with anyone..you choose your friends in life...and if you don't want to loose friends when they disappoint you..just remember only to allow anyone to be as close to you as you want...now..this i probably more than you or anyone cares to read..but it might help you or someone else
