I don't think so, but I'm not sure. I got my Ixi from the pound a long time ago...that's why he has such an unimaginative name. I didn't think Ixis were a rare pet but I haven't tried to make one.
I wanted to take advantage of the free training though, but I missed it.

aw that's too bad that you missed it, ive been trying to figure out what type of neopet i want for my fourth but i can't decide. i might just wait till i get the lab map co.pleted and just adopt a random one to zap.

i missed it too and even saw it was going on but thought you had ot wait to train on the weekend...i am gonna go try to see if i can still get it..no but i thought you could only train on the weekends for free on Pet days..i guess i was wrong lol

But at least Ixis have things like free training. On the last Usul day there was nothing! No free training anywhere. A few new graphics, but that was it!
As soon as I have a complete lab map, my Usul is history!

you might want to check to see if they give you free training even though they don't announce it....it seems like they don't always say don't forget the free training but..then again i am not sure on that
