Wow! Great minds think a like huh! I was just about to post that!  Well anyway it looks really neat how they are going to let you have a house that really does look like a house and how your neopets get to be in the house! (Even if they don't move.  ) |

oh i think this is really cool....but i hope it doesn't ruin what i've already done....not sure how they will incorperate how the existing neohomes appear and such..or if they will allow you to move your property cause alot of stuff wasn't this way before hand...oh i see glitches out the ying yang..but it should be fun eventually

im very excited about how their changing the viewpoint of the rooms. you wont be looking down into your house so you'll be able to see what the furniture actually looks like! and its neat that you'll see your pets inside the house as well. and they really made the outside of the houses look awesome, my faves have to be faerieland, krawk island, and maraquan homes =)

i think it has a lot of better qualites!!!! i love it but i hope i haven't wasted alot of time..i just rebuilt my home this year....and redecorated it as well..going to fayetteville wednesday..gonna pick up some more neocash cards....cause i am sure they furniture they will come out with will blow away the np furniture...just cause they can make money on it....ugggg

they just released pics of some of the furniture sets you will be able to buy in the NC mall and they're gorgeous! they also have add ons to your actual house like towers, gazebos, covered patios, and courtyards! the only downside is that these will be NC items for now.
But they did also announce that they are working on making all of the NP furniture work in the new homes. you can tell if they are working if you have the item in your inventory and its background is brown. =) if everyone wants to check out the new furniture just visit the link on my first post.

This whole neohomes thing is sort of giving me a nauseous feeling. I still refuse to get on the whole NC bandwagon. I mean, I can't entirely blame them for needing to make money, but when will they finally "sell out", you know> I mean, how long before Neopets isn't free, anymore?
I'm, ranting again... and almost completely off the subject of neohomes.
Oh well, I spent a fortune on my old neohome, and was in the process of demolishing it before I left. I wanted to move. Guess I need to see what all has been done on that front in my absence.

i know alien im hoping that they don't start charging people just for access to the website. one of the reasons im online so much is because its free. and since its free i can sometimes splurge and buy a NC item, but if that changes i know a lot of neopians are gonna be angry =/.
I just realized the new Neohomes kind of remind me of Animal Crossing. If anyone has a Nintendo Gamecube or Wii i suggest trying that game, it's really neat. its probably where TNT is gonna get a lot of their ideas for the new homes.

Ya! I thought that too. I have that game on my Nintendo DS and now that I think about it the houses on that game are like the ones that are going on Neopets. I have to agree that might be where they got there idea.  |

All i know is that they're trying to make all neohome furniture work with the new version but who knows how long that's going to take. =/
Oh and i almost forgot, any furniture with the little house icon on the bottom right hand side of the pic means that it is compatible with the new neohomes!

Has anyone made a new neohome yet!?!? i just made mine and it's adorable! i went with Faerieland because i had a Maraquan home this whole time and when I got my first neohome I really wanted a faerieland home but i couldn't afford it. i ran into one bug already when i was putting my new furniture in but i got around it alright. Pooey on NC furniture. I'm not giving in to Neocash cards any time soon. There's tons of np furniture..
Another downside is that Neohome 2.0 is noticeably slower (on some internet connections at least). It's not just HTML that'll load like a simple page.
Eh, but I am excited that you get to see your Neopets in the house and the furniture from something other than an unflattering birds-eye view.
