I just recently discovered this site that was featured on CBS News' television report, and I've been revisiting every so often- I think you guys should check it out, too!
About six weeks ago, some guy named John Breen launched a website called freerice.com. The purpose of the site is two things - to help visitors boost their vocabulary, and to donate rice to needy countries.
If you visit the site (click the link above or type it in to your address bar), you can play the vocab. game. Each correct answer results in 20 grains of rice being donated somewhere (mostly Africa and Asia) by the United Nations.
As you get more questions correct, the vocabulary level increases, giving you more difficult words. The page keeps track of your level, highest level reached, and amount of rice donated total.
20 grains of rice per mouse click may not seem like a lot, but millions of people clicking away results in billions of grains of rice for hungry people! So if you're ever sitting at the computer wondering what to do, don't forget freerice.com! And spread the word!

So far I've donated around 8,000...5,000 of that in one sitting which took me almost half an hour of just nonstop vocab.!! Lol
