Rather incredible movie, I couldn't believe the outcome at the end with Harvey and Rachel!!!! Absolutely fantastic franchise that Nolan has created, what a shame to loose Ledger for the sequels as he really did create a truly classic cinematic character, I thought. I was thinking Matt Damon might be a suitable replacement...

I gotta say the best movie i've seen so far this year! I LOVED Batman Begins and I was dreading the Dark Knight to be not as good but I definetly wasn't disappointed. Ledger was amazing in it too he should win some kind of award in his memory. I'm hoping to see either a new villain in the next move or a really old one like The Penguin =p I just hope they don't re-do the riddler because I loved Jim Carey as the riddler.

In the movie when Bruce asks if his new suit will keep him safe from dogs Lucius said it should but it would definitely keep him safe from cats. I think that was pretty poignant choice of words, I have a hunch Catwoman will be in the next one.
There's been buzz that she'll be the next villain and that they're actually approaching CHER for the role to go against the bombshell portrayal that we always get of Catwoman. I have total trust in what they decide as theyir choices in the first two films have just been amazing. Although I gotta say Cher seems to be a REALLY odd choice!
There is also buzz that Riddler and Penguin would be in the next film with Johnny Depp and Phillip Seymour Hoffman respectively playing the roles. Personally if they bring back the Joker I have a hunch Matt Damon could probably do Ledger's creation justice.

It's a really good movie cottoncandy you should go see it. Yeah I can't see Cher being catwoman they need someone a little younger, maybe they'll bring in Halley Barry(did i spell her name right?) since she played Catwoman in the Catwoman movie a couple years back.

haha sorry that movie was so crappy. LMAO cat women should be played by an actor we dont know. so that way we dont judge the famous actor for doing bad. and it gives popularity to the new famous actor. but if the movies bad it will just make her look bad haha

I watched the first movies, the ones from the late 80s/early 90s. I was so upset when Heath Ledger took the role of the Joker, because I thought Nicholson was classic. I LOVE the older movies. However, I saw The Dark Knight a few nights ago when my mother bought the DVD.
I have to say, I LOVE him as the Joker! The movie was completely awesome - even though it goes against the originals. I think they could have gotten a better actor as Batman though.
I noticed a lot of people asked the question (not here, obviously, but anywhere else I talked about it), HOW DID THE JOKER GET HIS SCARS?! So, I typed up a few paragraphs on other websites, I could post the paragraphs here as well if anyone is interested in reading them.

Oh; and Batman Forever (Two-Face and the Riddler are the villians; it's the movie where Robin joins in) is my FAVORITE Batman movie. The Riddler is by far my favorite villain because I relate to him the most. I also love the Joker; and I somewhat relate to Twoface but he's never been even NEAR my favorite villain.

I really liked the older Batman movies too, and I loved Jim Carey as the Riddler! I also liked Uma Thurman(is that how you spell it???) as Poison Ivy too =).

I want to see that movie really bad! Ugh it's sad that the joker died right after the making! I mean really! In the prievews that I saw I thought he did a great job, and well to think of him as dead in the real world is a little sad. (I"ve always had a thing for villans!)
