My husband and I are headed to the beach, leaving in a few minutes. I am not taking my laptop just spending much needed time with my hubby. It is our 25th wedding anniversary. Will be back sometime Sunday. Be good while I am gone.

I am back had a good time, I am not a water person so I don't get in the ocean. I just go cause my family likes to go. We had a great breakfast and just spent time by the pool and in the jacuzzi which is what I needed. My knee has been bothering me since my accident, so the jacuzzi really helped. I was glad to get home, the new car is great we took that to the beach. I am so glad to be done fighting with the insurance company, now I can get on with my life again .

So glad you had a good time! Even though you aren't a water person it's still nice to sit on the beach, listen to the sounds and watch the waves. I love the ocean, although I don't feel real comfortable being out very far if Art isn't with me. We have boogie boards and like the waves.
So glad your new car is working out! Did you post somewhere else here on the boards what you ended up getting? I haven't had a lot of board time lately, so I must have missed it if you did. Anyway, I'm glad that's all resolved for you.
Hope your knee feels better soon. Do you ice it? I find that helps mine more than heat.

No I didn't post what I got. I ended up getting a '96 ford taurus station wagon it has 97K miles on it. It was all I really could get with the insurance company settlement. It is in great condition owned by a little old couple

glad you enjoyed your vacation daisy and you've got a vehicle! i love the beach too but not one who enjoys being in the ocean...just the atmosphere is my thing..i like pools where i can see whats under me!
