"To get a Jetsam, you can only create one in Create a Pet, or adopt one from the Pound. Usually, more Jetsams are released on Jetsam Day, October 16th."
I think they're now just available on October 16th =/

If you have the entire lab map you can take your pet to the Secret Laboratory and zap it. Sometimes they change species and you might get lucky and have a Jetsam. I don't think the odds would be in your favor though.

I'd venture a guess that getting the desired species would take several zaps. I think that's even an extreme understatement. lol

lab map pieces can cost anywhere from 15000 nps to 150000 nps a whole set usually sells for 80000 You can get them from random events and the toolbar as well
