Hi there, My name is Kay and people have a habit of telling me I'm too old for neopets but I really don't care, it's a lot of fun  I joined the site about 8 years ago and then took a bit of a break about 3 years ago before returning again on a nostalgia trip. I've had bad luck with guilds I've put a lot of time andeffort into closing their doors on me so I truly hope this will be different. My neopet Emerald loves to read, in fact if you visit her page you'll see a reading guide I'm working on I'm even going to be offering free book trades in the future to get Neopia reading I have a lab ray so you can expect to see me posting in the adoption center from time to time too! I hope you will find that the members of this guild are different from the ones you've run into in the past. Everyone here is friendly and helpful, and we have all ages in our membership. I know sometimes people are surprised by our hobby, but they don't realize that we have a whole group of people that we are friends with here. It's more than just an online game with little characters. I'm glad you decided to give us a try. I think it's great that you are promoting reading! Maybe after you have been with us a while you might want to do some kind of an in-guild reading promotion. We also love seeing what new pets are zapped with the lab ray, so feel free to post your new changes. I have the lab ray but so far I have gotten attached to every pet I have created to zap! haha I don't visit our local animal shelter for that very reason. I donate, just can't go there in person or I'd come home with too much of everything! So, welcome to the guild and if there is anything I can do to help you or if you have any questions at all, feel free to ask. |

Welcome to the guild Kay! I'm sure no one will be closing any doors on you here! Like Bunny said, everyone is really nice and helpful here so I hope you will feel at home. I have a Xweetok named Emerald1286!! That's really neat because I've never seen another pet with the name Emerald before!!! I'll be sending you a friend request too. =D

hi and welcome to the guild kay...i am glad you found us..i was like you and never found a guild i wanted to stay with until i found this guild...and been here for almost 3 years now..maybe longer...its one of a kind and where most snubbed me cause at the time i was a noob..this guild helped me and took me in and made me feel like it was home...i am not on like i use to be and trying to do better...between my personal life and computer issues...its been dang if i do and dang if i don't story.i couldn't even get on the boards a few days ago..but anyway..welcome to the guild!
