Is anyone else as addicted to this as I am? It's lots of fun and the prizes are just amazing! Even silver and bronze keys seem to give out things like codestones & neggs

Yeah I've won a ton of good stuff playing key quest but sometimes I get really frustrated when I lose so I've been taking a break from it. I ended up selling over 600,000NPs of the stuff I've won from it though which was cool. =)

just collect all the keys and who ever is first at the door wins. its a really slow game but if u have 2 accounts and you play agaisnt your self 10 times day, youll make alot of money by selling codestones and neggss and stuff. thats what i do i got a glowing paint brush from key quest

I read your post about playing against yourself in KeyQuest, and I thought I should caution you. Side accounts are not to be used for gain, visiting the shrine, stuff like that. It is allowed to play games minimally to earn nps to feed the pets on your side account, but as far as using them to get advent items or any type of extra benefit, you can get frozen for that. I'm not sure if KeyQuest fits in that category, but I think NTS would frown on playing against yourself and getting prizes on both accounts. I would really hate for them to freeze you over that. It seems like a silly rule, and you would think with the millions of players that they have that they wouldn't worry about side accounts. But they do. So just be careful, or you might want to consider not doing that at all.

I'm with Bunny.. I've never known anyone who was warned for playing with two accounts, but I know they're serious about the gaining major np from more than 1. Also, I've won key quest twice, and one was a 5 key game, and i got crap items. a ghostkerchief, a yurble book, a treasure map book, and something else insignifigant... worth about 500 np altogether. Not worth the amount of time it took, i could have earned 3000 from destructomatch or anything else in less time. BUT Since you speak of these awesome prizes i have to keep playing until i win something really good, lol.

Kris, there is a drop down menu under games, and KeyQuest is listed there. You are automatically given one game token (character) to play with, or you can get special tokens by buying Neopet merchandise that have keyquest codes on them. I have a Faerie Ixi from a little stuffed one that I bought just to get the code.
So, then you decide how many keys you want to play for. It's kinda like a 3-D board game, and your little token goes around the board. It's based on dice rolls, and you land on different things. Some things bring up a little mini game that you play against your opponent, some give you special abilities, like reverse direction, trade with your opponent, or other things like that. You travel around the board and collect keys of different colors, and once you have one of each color you head for the special door and if you get to it before your opponent, with dice rolls, you win. If you land on the one X that is close to that door, it doubles your nps and gives you an additional key and another ability you can use. It's really easy to play. I usually just play two player because the four player ones just take way too long.
I've gotten good prizes consistently..codestones, Super Icy Neggs, other neggs, and books. Most of the time I donate the books because my pets have already ready them and they keep giving out the same ones. But the neggs make money for the guild funds so I sell those. I've been training Bixi like crazy with all the codestones.
I haven't gotten any paint brushes from it, although I've heard you can.

I read the ENTIRE side account guide on sunnyneo.com a few weeks ago before making a side account and TNT did make it clear that you're not supposed to play Key Quest on a side account because it gives you an unfair advantage. Here is an article from the Neopian Times proving this:
"☼ Hey TNT! First of all, nice job with Key Quest. It's great. I've got a question, though. Since I run my main on Firefox and people say that it's easier to play with Internet Explorer, can I play it on my side since they're using IE and transfer the rewards to my main and not play on my main at all anymore? This would mean that I'll have to use the free token on my side, too. Please answer and thank you. ~vedoc78 Remember that games awarding prizes or Neopoints are not allowed to be played on side accounts. That includes Key Quest! No, please do NOT play Key Quest on any account except your main account, even if you intend to transfer the prizes or not play on your main that day, etc, etc.
If you want to play Key Quest on IE, then please log into your main account on that browser to do so and then go back to Firefox when you're done playing."
So to anyone who has been playing Key Quest on your side accounts, please be careful because I don't want to see anyone's accounts frozen =(

xsunshinelollipopsx, I have some extra Grundo furniture items from KeyQuest so I put them in a trade for you. Just bid a junk item, and if I get any more I'll save them for you. I've been donating them most of the time because I'm not into neohomes so I won't use them.

I have some extra pieces too if you want them sunshine, like all of the grundo furniture and I also have many heart toast sculptures from key quest. I wish they would alternate the prizes a little bit so you don't get the same items over and over again =/.
sanitize ill play with you when im online if you want to, i have a fast connection so ill be quick =) Also if anyone else ever wants to play with me just send me a neomail!
