I know! How much toast sculpture can one person use anyway?
I think it's strange how the prizes don't always correlate to the win. Sometimes for first place I've gotten a bunch of the same old books, stamps, and furniture, and then when I've come in second I'll get three codestones and a negg!
Has anyone gotten paint brushes? And if so, was it on a two player game, or do you have to win a four player one? They take so darn long to play that I usually do the two player.

you get some pretty good random 1st place prizes sometimes.
i got a glowing paintbrush playing a 2 player keyquest 1st place. and also a lab map in another round 2 player key quest, 1st place. so save time by playing 2 player and i think 5 keys. i dunno if u pick 2 keys u get a lower prize,

Thanks for the explanations you guys, I appreciate it.  I might start playing once I have some more time. Can everyone tell what kind of prizes they are getting from key quest? That way people (like me) know that the items are being given out and then they can check the price so they can buy them, thanks. |

just warning u kris, u ganna get alot of the same books, brown grundo furniture, repeatable stamps and a heart toast sculpture worth 1 np hahaa. but you are bound to get a negg and a codestone for sure.  |

Yeah you do get a lot of the same stuff, but it really is the fastest way to earn NPs now ^_^. I'm hoping that I will win a PB or a lab map piece soon, I've almost won over 100 games and I haven't gotten one yet =/.

Wow, Devin. 100 games of key quest? That's a lot of time, ha. I'm really liking the updates they've done, new power ups and the game isn't freezing up for me (hopefully this will last.. i'm running on a t3 connection and don't even know how fast my computer is but it's fast but it's stupid vista that slows everything down.) Anyway, anyone else seeing improvements? Thoughts?

YeahI can't believe how many games i've played, I've won 102 games and I've gotten 2nd and 3rd in at least 40 games, time has gone by so fast! lol.
I just played a game with the new improvements and it seems like the game is running faster now than it was before, and I like the new power-ups. I still need to try the premium portal version of the beta, I heard there are more boards and mini-games on the premium one.

k i tried playing 2 players 2 keys, if u win u get the lowest key. if your doing 2 players 3 keys you get bronze key, so on an so on. u can only get a gold key in 2 players if you play 5 keys

I know!! It takes forever now. I only play two player games because it takes so long. It gets annoying trying to get the game over with when you have so many different power ups to use. It's a good thing you can't chat normally, because I would be saying things like "I'll let you win if you'll just stop with the power ups and get it over with already!!!"

i know it takes up 30 minutes one game just to get repeatable stamps and books. and the worst prize of all "heart sculpture" ugh!!! haha

grr, i just had someone quit on me after i WON. i can't stand sore losers!! i didn't get the key because they quit as soon as they realized i had rolled enough to get to the door!

That just shows how stupid they are because even for second place you get pretty decent prizes sometimes. I'm beginning to think the prizes are pretty random. I just won a first, and got three codestones and a book, but yesterday on one of my firsts I got three repeat books and one of those worthless toast sculptures.

i think they are really random. i got a super icy negg on gold and an icy neggon silver, yesterday i got 3 codestones and a book from a silver key, it's totally random but it's all free stuff right? and i love that you can submit ten keys a day (if you have that kind of patience) so for someone who played ten games a day they could win at least 50000 worth of items if they won one codestone per key.

If you play Key Quest today, in honor of Halloween I guess (they use the corny term "spoo-key") you get double keys as a reward! So if you earn a gold key, you really get two gold keys and can redeem them both!! Good deal. I don't know how long this will last, hopefully past today, eh. |
