I am having surgery on thursday...i am not sure yet how long i will be in the hospital...all i know is it will take a couple of months to get back on my feet...i wont be able to do much of anything...i will try really hard to keep everyone updated.

i am home now...it will take me at least a couple of months to heal...i have a big incision under my tummy about 10 inches long....thanks for caring...i wont be as active...

I'm sorry to hear about the incision being so long.  I'm sure sitting at the computer isn't very comfortable for now. I hope you have some good meds for pain so you aren't suffering much. I didn't have to have a big incision with mine, but there was a lot of internal repair that had to heal so I know what you're going through. It WILL get better, but it's going to take some time so try to take it as easy as possible and get lots of rest. Take care! I have a couple of things in a trade for you to cheer you up. I would have sent them, but with you resting and not being on a lot right now I think they would just come back. So when you're back on, please go check my trades.   (just noticed your birthday trade is still there too.) |

they were giving me motrin...so that was sooooooo not working for pain....took me all day yesterday to get through the drs head that i was in severe pain....now i have acceptable meds to cover some of the pain...thanks for caring

healing is not going as expected...i might have to have a few of the stitches redone....i think my dr may be incompetent but that is besides the point...just thought i would update everyone

Sorry to hear that, sweetie. Those who have never had any surgery are lucky. It sounds much simpler than it really is, and so many things can crop up. I hope your stitches hold and don't have to be redone. How are you feeling aside from the stitch issue? Are you getting your strength back some now? Just being under anesthesia takes a toll on your energy level and that takes time to recover from, besides the actual healing of the surgery location. I hope you start feeling better soon. Take care of yourself! I'll be thinking about you. |

i am moving..will be offline for about a week...i cant lift anything yet so we will see how many people come to help me....things are horrible with my room mate
