I've been getting into coding a heck of a lot lately, and I was thinking maybe the site needs a key? You know, for member groups and stuff, right at the bottom. I don't know why I feel like suggesting this little unimportant tidbit, but I was just thinking about it. Feel free to not want to, it's just something I was thinking as I was getting more into coding, and then I thought, hey! What about the Silver Lined Cloud Guild site? Anyway, just thought I'd throw that option out there!  |

Ha ha ha, sorry guys! I should've explained better! Ok so a key is the thing in the bottom of the screen that tells you what each member is. For example say that the magic clouds had purple usernames, then you'd put a key and... ok so it's hard to explain so I"m gonna hunt down an example! z11.invisionfree.com/rpg_undergroundOk so scroll down to the very bottom of the screen and you should see 4 boxes on top of each other. So the key (it's called a legend on that site) is the third one up from the bottom second one down. If you'll notice, each time you wave your mouse over a color, a name for that member group pops up next to the key or legend. Make sense? You need a special html code, which I can give the staff, if they wanted a key. It's just a suggestion though. |

If you look under everyone's username it says what rank they have. I don't know that we need something else to do the same function. Council member names show up in red also.
I suppose if for some reason we needed to see all the magic clouds at once, or the whirlwinds, or any other group, a key would work for that.
Okay, I just went and looked at the link and it doesn't sort the names, so never mind.
Does it do anything at all other than put difference group names in colors? We probably have something that will do that now. I'll have to look.
Dl, what do you think about this?

I'm sorry, just as I said I've become an html freak over the past couple of weeks (dad's an engineer XD) and just was wondering if you guys at all wanted a group legend/key where if someone comes in they can tell at the bottom who goes in which group without having to read their group name. But I totally understand if you deem this an excessive thing that you don't need! I was just suggesting it might look nice/be functional for the guests and the members. But don't worry about it, it was a spur of the moment suggestion.

I'm not sure this board has this function as a free board. I think it does if we upgraded to one we pay for, but I don't know who wants to pay anything. lol
You don't need to apologize. All ideas are welcome here. You're posting, and thinking of the board, and that's what's important. I know it's been dead around here because everyone is so busy, so any input is appreciated.
