Totally!  I just hate to see people give up on it! It really IS possible to do it fairly inexpensively...ESPECIALLY this month. The Healing Springs, shrine, fruit machine, tombola....all free...and sometimes give out random things too. Just..like Fairy said. Keep EVERYTHING! lol. |

That's the spirit!  lol Take it from experience, I had barely anything to start with in my SDB..ever since I worked toward the pack rat av and finally got it, I've sold a lot but still have well over 1000 items. It really doesn't take long if you work at it..and there are a few pack rat guides you can use that can help you get there the cheaper route. |

I used one of those pack rat guides that lists 1000 relatively cheap items. I am not a pack rat at all, so my SDB was completely empty. I like selling stuff too much, haha! I got my first 300 or so really easily (all the tombola, fishing, etc. junk), then i just kept collecting whatever new items I got from games or random events. I got up to about 600 very slowly over the next couple months and then just decided to go for it one day, so I used the guide again to get 400 items I didn't have yet. haha, I was on the computer all day on weekend buying and then spent the next two days selling everything! That's the great thing about the pack rat avie...it might cost a bit, but you sell everything at the end and get it all back!

Lol unless you're like me..I sold a lot of my duplicates after I got the avie but kept single items..in case an avatar happens to call for one of those items lol. So now I have way more than 2000 items in my SDB, 1000+ different ones. It makes me feel so cluttered lol. I guess I should pick up selling again.

Yea, 1000 items was the most ever in my SDB and hopefully that'll be it! I'm such the non-pack rat, this avie was hard for me. Usually as soon as I get something it goes straight to my shop. What can I say...I like being miss moneybags, haha.

i just always look at the aspect that hummm this could be an avie item one day...better keep it now so i won't have to pay a fortune later to get one. and if i have two well then i can sell one for that new inflated price! lol looking for np making possilbilties for the future lol!

I like being miss moneybags, haha. exactly. i'm saving up to paint my pets first and if i get there someday, then i'll get there. i recently had almost 100k in trades so i was trying to save my money. i will keep most of the stuff that i get in case it is something i can sell for profit, because i like having money. heehee |

i'm the same way full, i keep selling off duplicates unless it's something i really like and fairy and i are really bad at buying items just cuz we think there may be an avie with them eventually, like when we bought a ton of grey foods with the little clouds over them  it's terrible how paranoid we are about those avies! |

[glow=red,2,300] I got it...I finally got it[/glow] I am so excited, kind of silly huh?...lol I am going to put most items in my shop...I am going to set up trades for guild members that are going for the avie ...Also I am going to make a list of everything I got in my SDB, so it will be helpful for others, I will post here when I have the list ready ...It may be a few days...Going for the avie is not a cheap thing to do  |
