This works pretty well! Check the trading post for people who have the Chokato TCG, the MSPP, and some other avatar items. Basically you bid more or less the price of the item, the person accepts, and you get the avi. then you set up a trade with the item in it, and the person will bid your np back. This way, you don't lose any money but get an avatar (although it is nice to give the person a few nps as a thank you)
