oops, never mind. I looked on Jellyneo and they said....
"To get the new Shoyru Avatar, you need to battle with YOUR Shoyru and win, as well."
I want it....boo! Stupid lab ray turning my beautiful Shoyru into a techo...

I really dislike all the avatars where you have to own a certain pet to get them.  I just think that it's not fair. I mean, you can only have four pets....Avie crazed people either have to borrow a pet or disown one to get the right one to get the avie. ugh. Drives me crazy. |

i agree with mdith i just am not into the battle part of neopia not even sure how to do it much less have confidence i would win and i have three pets (thank goodness one of them is not a grarrl anymore.) but to me finding items or eating items is nicer it promote neopians to spend money to achieve the avie. i would love to see them do one for like if you read so many books or if you build a neohome, cover all the interest they have for players, or even sell a stock at a certain level. those are things people can do even if they never furnish the home. but not every one can win the battle avies. and i could say the same for games but i won't because its still incentive to do something positive in earning points. i know neopets fight or battle but to me if it has to involve a battle and some of us aren't into that type of thing then let it be battle a certain species and if you win you win and if you lose you lose but you get the avie- but not that you have to own a certain pet. i would think about attempting it under those circumstances. i still haven't battled the last type of pet they had with an avie.

You are completely right, I have had all four of my Neoipets since before they even started putting avatars out. I am just not willing to give them up just to get an avie. |

Dl has a shoyru.. i mean he is a fan... maybe if he will let us battle him so we can get the avatar...
All you need to do is adopt a shoyru from the pound. Than you can make its stats better too and make it better for someone wanting to readopt him.

i might be mistaken but you have to have a shoyru and fight other pet...not a shoyru against a shoyru..or am i wrong? not really sure but that is how i took it. and i would love to get a shoyru and i probably will but i don't want one from the pound only because i have a theme of names for my pets but i might anyway...if i find a good one.

Omg I totally agree, becky! I have 4 pets on my account and I collect avatars so right now I have a conflict that I've been thinking about for quite a while - Disown a pet, get the lab ray, or not get the avatars. My pets are my two cute usuls, an adorable poogle, and a cute cybunny. I have no clue which pet I might disown to get all the pet avatars. The lab ray would be really expensive and I like my pets as is anyway. I was also thinking maybe I shouldn't get the pet avatars.  |
