i don't have the fqd, i do have the meowclops but it takes to long to loan out and i still need to attach it to a pet..but when it gets over i will lend it out. i am seriously thinking about buying a fqd once i reach my np goal. or atleast i am considering it and loaning it with colleteral and tips to recoop the cost. and i hate to charge colleteral but i have to be safe cause that is a ton to put into an avie and if others don't mind the tips because basically that is all they would have to pay where as i will be looking at paying a small fortune. but if anyone else has planned on buying one i'l just borrow with a 5000np tip or more up to 10000k in tip cause really it is a big expense. so if anyone has planned on it let me know so we can atleast have one in the guild...we don't need two lol. but it will be a while before i can get it..about 3 months maybe less

Actually I don't think he'll say yes to that..I remember when the FQD avatar came out everybody in Neopia was scrambling to find one lol. Someone suggested starting a guild fund for it and dl said no..I think it was against some rule. And since there would be so much np to save, it's risky. Well, there are sometimes people on the neopets avatar chat board lending fqds..of course that's if you have appropriate collateral.

well lindsey has the avatar item shop...so she has a ton of things she lends out but it wouldn't be fair to ask for a fund because actually if the person who owned it wanted her nps back she could turn around and sell it. if i bought it i would hold on to it for members to continue as we grow to borrow. so i think a good tip is nice because it is saving people from having to save for that type item just to get an avie...and if one person has it and doesn't mind loaning we don't need two people spending that type of nps. i have waited to see if anyone would come across one but so far no one has so i might just bit that bullet myself lol...but gosh i sure hate to! and i don't trust borrowing it from people on the boards...with my luck i would get someone charging way more than it was worth in collateral and take my nps. but i do need to find out how much i can get one for. i might not have nearly enough so i guess 3 months projection time isn't fair when i have no idea what they are going for..i know they are unbuyable.

I think if someone buys one on their own and then decides to lend it, it's okay..If you did, fairy, I'm sure everyone would greatly appreciate it. But it definitely costs a bundle. An FQD costs 2 million np in the Hidden Tower...and the general price on the trading post is 1.6 to 1.7 million. That sure does seem a lot to spend...

well that answers that lol i am still working hard on getting the million...almost there and i am determined to get that this week. but 2 million..ouch lol. well one day we'll get it....maybe a few members would all like to go in....then we could split the cost 3 ways, get everyone the avie for everyone then turn around and sell it after the week and get our nps back. i guess i'll have to come up with a plan cause i am too hard headed not to keep on thinking when i have something on my mind. and i have been thinking about this for a while.

Oh wow! I knew the FQD's were expensive, but...wow! I agree that it would be totally awesome to be able to buy it, but man...a 2 million np avie!  wow. I haven't even gotten some of the "cheap" ones yet! lol Good luck with it Fairy! lol. If you do decide to go for it...let us know, I'll try to help with some donations.  Somebody ought to be able to buy it! lol. |

Yeah, no rush in getting anything..I just hope you're not planning on using all your np on this, fairy lol. But then of course you could always sell it...I dunno. Anyway I think just as long as someone's doing it personally, and knows that it's not an official guild thing, it's alright.

You know all you have to do with the Meowclops Avie, is have a Meowclops and refresh the Quick Ref page. You don't have to equip it.

i am not a blonde but the more you know me the more you wonder why! i was blessed with blonde brain cells....but only got this way after i had children. i wasted 4 years on college cause 3 kids burned out a whole life of learning! actually children are an totally different education.

well, like everyone has said, the fqd is an expensive item.... though I do plan on having one along with the other items that are outrageously priced : mspp (tcg), icy snowflake, bony grarrl club.... it all just takes time |
