wish i had known about changing my gender to begin with, at first people were saying that it depended on teh gender of your pet, so I took a male pet to the female's lookup, i got the male avatar on all my accounts though i wanted the female  oh well |

Spiffy, eh? Well, you can only have one. Depending on which one you want, you'll need to change your account's gender (whatever shows up in your lookup). You can change gender information here: www.neopets.com/userinfo.phtml (But read the next part first! It's confusing!) From Jellyneo.net |

And remember to try and stay on topic in threads that are created already or that you created. Its okay though becuase you are new and learning. PM or neomail me if you need more help. |

Same here..I want the female avatar..so to clear this up, should I change my gender on my look-up to male and then click the link for the male avatar? lol |

yes, its strange how they have it backwards  I wanted the female one so much more than the male one but I guess we're all stuck with the one we didn't want. I thought we could get both at first so I was like cool I just went and got the male one then changed my gender and went for the female and it didn't work  |

Well that's just evil of TNT..an avatar which you can choose either version.. and the one you want, they switch it around so a lot of people have gotten the one they didn't want.

oh so where in the world do you go to to change genders....i thought it was the neopet you had actives gender...which i got female because it was listed first and had a female pet..then changed to male pet but only one avie lol

Go to boards then user preferences, type in your usual password then change your gender and click change your details at the bottom:)

I think i was a male and i went to the male site and got the female avie...
I was a male, went to the female site and didn't get anything...
