Woo-hoo! Got it today.

Get your pet to "very bloated" and then go to the Maraquan restaurant. Pick the cheapest thing for each course, and then take home leftovers. You get the avatar, but no notice -- it just appears in your list.

All my pets are in the neolodge so I can't feed them right now. They are justs "bloated", not "very bloated". I'll have to wait to get it until they come home from their holiday.

I got that avie back when it was still attainable by "cheating."

Nope, still didn't get it...I filled my poor pet up with omelettes until she was bloated and then took her to the restaurant, blew a little over 60k, and no avie. Cuz my pet apparently had a whole heck of a lotta room left in her stomach since she didn't take home any leftovers.

I fed my pet with omelettes to get bloated, then went and fed her cereal so she was over stuffed! Then took her to Kelp.

She's been "very bloated" since and I haven't had to feed her!

I read on some avatar guide that apparently it doesn't really matter whether your pet is bloated or not. It's still random if you take home leftovers.
