That darn pant devil! Once I had a random event of a codestone, and right when I went to my inventory to put it in my SDB, he stole it before I even got a chance to put it somewhere safe! He's very sneaky.

GRRRRRRRR. I have poison ivy on my FACE!!!!! This is only the second time in my whole life that I've had poison ivy. I haven't even been close to any! The only thing we can figure out is that Art was using the weedeater out behind our house at the edge of the woods and it got on his jeans. I washed his jeans yesterday, so I must have touched them, and then touched my face. It's a place about as big as a tennis ball, and it's on my cheek about an inch from my eye. I have to go on errands today, and I have another Lia Sophia party tomorrow night, so I'm going to have to put makeup over it to look presentable. I think I may have some on my neck too. Geez. I think one of my errands better be to CVS for something to put on it. We haven't got anything for it here.

Wow, I had no idea that poison ivy stayed in clothing like that! So sorry, bunny, that sounds horrible. Hope it clears up soon for you!

It's spreading!!! waaaahhhhh! If I had known he had been in the poison ivy by the woods I could have avoided this, but I didn't, and he was asleep when I went in and got the clothes to wash. He probably wouldn't have thought of it doing this anyway. I went to Walgreens and talked to the pharmacist and bought some stuff to put on it, and I'm taking benedryl. It's going down my neck and it's on my chest and a couple of places clear down on my hip! The pharmacist said it's systemic, and it can pop out anywhere. Criminy. If it keeps popping out I'm going to the doctor Friday. I've got a show to do tomorrow night so I hope I can keep it covered up with makeup. (which doesn't exactly feel great on top of it...but I can't just go with the rash all red.) It's only about 3/4" from my eye which isn't a good thing either. I've only had it one other time and it was one little bitty place. This is much worse.

Just got back from seeing my doctor. Got a cortisone shot so maybe that will help. It's still spreading. He said it's hard to tell if it's poison ivy for sure, because there are lots of contact dermititus' that cause the same type of reaction. If it's not better by Monday I have to go back. At least the shot is supposed to stop the itching in a few hours.

i still bet it is poison ivy or oak....and that happens for those very sensative to it....cause weed eaters slice into the weeds and they well bleed or juice and it splatters just like if our limbs were severed...you just must be highly allergic to it. and it can be very dangerous the closer it gets to the eyes so be careful

Now I'm taking a prednisone pack, and this is the first day there hasn't been a new spot pop up somewhere, so I think it's working. I'm still really itchy though. The places that broke out first, like on my face and my neck, are starting to really improve. So I think that's a good sign.
Prednisone makes me grouchy and restless though. Poor Art!
