My computer crashed a few weeks ago, and I had 4 exams today. But on a brighter note, I got my computer up & running after calling into the Dell Support Center or whatever. Cost me $90 or so...

I jammed my left middle finger during warm-ups at flag football practice right before our first game. i got a closed throat and a headache along with it. So they gave me some tylenol and ice packs. i felt better, got a ton of flag pulls, and we won. But 2 days later it still looks really gross.

my cat Lhianon died today, poor thing. I don't even know what happened, but when I realized something was majorly wrong with her it was too late.
I thought she had a cold. when I realized it wasn't a cold but something else I didnt have the money to take her to the vet. When I managed to get the money, it was too late.
Of course anyone that knows me and knows my husband knows that there's more to the story than just this, I just really don't feel like getting into it
I had to explain to my girls why they won't get to see her anymore and that was hard enough

Thank you so much for the support!!!! I just found out today that he had stints put in his heart and is home now and he has to see a doctor weekly for awhile...they had christmas last night...I am so glad he is ok now, it was so hard hearing my son over the phone so worried about his dad and there was nothing I could do about it

I'm glad that he's doing better, Jazzmyn. Your son must be relieved to have him home.
And Lindsey, I'm so sorry about your kitty. It's so hard to lose a pet. My cat, Kathryn, is around 18 years old, so she can't hang on a whole lot longer. So far so good though. But Mitch and Kari lost two of their cats in the last six months, and it was very hard for them. Both were accidents. Maybe in a couple of months you could get a kitten for your kids...they would probably be ready for another pet by then.

i'm not sure if i want another pet, every single pet i've ever had (after moving out of my parents) has either died or i had to get rid of it for one reason or another
i wasn't even supposed to have a pet here, but i saw how curtis was treating her... he found her outside his house and thought she was his cat (i can't say his cat's name cuz it's racist... the things some stupid bigots do) but curtis is a bully, he mistreats animals to make himself feel important and to stroke his ego since he has so many inadequacies as a person (not to mention a man) so I took her in which was back in june. she was fully declawed so i didn't want her to be outside until i realized that she could hold her own and would stomp on other animals
what i didn't take into consideration was the neighbors... they're all a bunch of college kids that enjoy showing off so they'll go rip roaring down the road and such... i dont' think she was hit head on at a high speed or anything or she wouldn't have lasted as long as she did, but she could have been kicked very hard which caused something to rupture internally and slowly progress worse
i'm just not into having another pet... johnny's mean to them, the girls don't do too well anymore, jackie's a major brat to them and i can't keep her away no matter how hard i don't want her here and it never fails something bad happens that a person with money could afford to fix but i can't afford it

Oh that's really sad Lindsey. We had a kitten who died and the vet told us it was either from getting hit by a vehicle, or getting into some sort of poison. Well, it must have been poison because she was in indoor cat. It really disgusts me how people can be so immature and treat others that way, that was really kind of you to take that cat in and give it a good home.

I could never imagine hurting an animal in any way. I was going to volenteer at one of the shelters here but I found out they put animals down after a month of not being adopted...I just couldn't do it

Our poor baby Graci had to start using a nebulizer today. She's on antibiotics, and Mitch and Kari are both on antibiotics. Art and I have nasty head colds, and my dad just got over one where he coughed for eight days straight and finally had to have a chest xray. I've had one thing or another since way before Christmas when I had laryngitis. Up until now Graci managed to miss getting all this stuff going around, but now she is so sick she has to sleep sitting up. So of course that means someone has to hold her all the time. I told Mitch I can be up there in an hour if they need help. They all had doctor appointments today, and then the first place they went to get the nebulizer was all out of them. So after their doctor apts. they had to go to three different drug stores before they could finally get home. So far they've said they're ok and I don't need to come, but I've got my overnight bag ready just in case. This is the first time Graci has been really sick, and they aren't used to a sick baby. Plus being sick themselves they are tired and worn out. I swear, the whole state of Indiana is nothing but one big germ! It needs to get really cold and freeze some of these nasty little germs out. This always happens here when we have a warm winter. Art is at the drug store now, stocking up on more cold medicine for both of us, and unless Mitch and Kari call, we plan on holing up in here for the rest of the night.

oh poor baby! they don't think it's RSV do they? I know Kourtney had it and it was horrible, the dr thought it was pneumonia instead and she was hospitalized twice over it
cailet was exposed but never caught i i had to deal with it on both tobin and kinsey and harper's at risk too, but i doubt it would ever be as bad as kourt had it
winter time scares the crud out of me when it comes to babies.... I know they're using a nebulizer but another thing I found that helped for everyone all around was one of those sudafed or vicks plugins I had to use one in our apt in jay and it worked great and helped everyone out but it made my house smell like one big menthol cigarette cuz of the menthol
I hope everything is ok and that they all get better very very soon

Thanks, Lindsey. So far it's just been diagnosed as baby bronchitis, and I know they will pay close attention to her. I'll pass along the info about the plug-in. Maybe it would help them all. It couldn't hurt anything except like you said, smell a little bit mentholy. (is that even a word? maybe not....)
