I almost know how yoiu feel about the snow if I had stayed home last night instead of coming back to campus (Michigan State University) I wouldn't be here now. A two hour trip took nearly four and all the schools and many of the businesses at home where I was are closed. And I can also tell you that this weather is horrible for a funeral. We burried my Uncle Bob yesterday, and the grave side service was extremely short.

Oh, I'm sorry to hear that. Bad weather makes burials even sadder.
We buried my Great Aunt Jane on Monday. My cousin brought her back from Georgia. At least the really bad stuff hadn't started yet.

School is starting to get to me now. I'm feeling a little overwhelmed. I have two tests on Friday. Ick, anyone wanna take one for me lol? Just kidding . There's also so much else going on right now, practicing, learning the violin, applying for jobs for next year. Well, thanks for letting me vent. If I'm not around much over the next couple weeks you'll know why.

so from one of my brothers, i asked for fall out boy concert tickets when they would be here in california. however, i checked the fall out boy website a few weeks ago and it said due to personal issues some of the concert dates were rescheduled, including the day i was going to go to. and the day they happen to reschedule it to is the day of my brother's wedding. i was totally bummed, since i really really wanted to see them in concert.

I hope you do find tickets for a more convenient day.
But, hey, be sure to make memories at your brother's wedding and here's just another wish for him and his wife!

My grandmother got hit by a car while she was out walking in her neighborhood. She was in a crosswalk and a car came around the corner too fast and hit her. She had to have her shoulder replaced and she has a lot of broken bones. She has been in the hospital for a week. She is in a lot of pain she says and it's not like my grandmother to complain at all, ever. So I know it must be true. She is doing good though all things considering, but please keep her in your prayers.

There's this rooster that keeps crowing. It's been crowing ever since I got up this morning and it's getting kind of annoying. *Turns on music*

Yesterday I was going to attend a baby shower for my cousin's wife. When we got there it turned out that the shower had been cancelled because the future mother's brother was in a motorcycle accident yesterday and he wasn't wearing a helmet. He was riding around town and hit some debris in the road aparently. I just found out that he died. It's this sort of attitude that I hope you all avoid. Just because you are on familiar streets is no reason to not buckle up or in this case not wear a helmet. I'm also worried about the future mother, she's been having a difficult pregnancy and I'm sure this extra stress can't be good. Please keep this family in your thoughts and prayers. Thanks.

That's so sad. What an awful thing to happen. Art and I always wear our helmets. I think we are about the only ones in our town that do, and maybe we don't look quite as "cool" as the others, (although having your hair blow into your eyes doesn't seem all that cool, or comfortable for that matter) But at least if we have an accident our heads are protected. There's a guy here in town who does wear one, but he doesn't fasten the straps. He might as well not bother to wear it, because it won't stay on if it isn't fastened. I don't know why that law was ever changed in Indiana...you used to have to wear one to ride.
I hope the mother-to-be managed to stay somewhat calm for the baby's sake. I will keep all of them in my prayers.
