I GOT A NEW CAR!!!!
Yesterday Johnny and I went to trade in our P.O.S. a 1980 Ford LTD Crown Victoria and they gave us 800 on our trade in, even though it broke down on the way there and Johnny had to pay a $65 towing bill to have a truck haul it in to the dealership.
We got a Silver 2000 Pontiac Grand Am SE and thankfully it has the keyless entry and alarm (scared the crap out of our neighbors with it last night) hehehehe!
it's so sweet!!!!! Though I haven't gotten to drive it yet, Johnny's coming up with every excuse in the book to have to go to the store or where ever just to be able to drive it.

haha congrats on the new car!! Mine decided to break down in october so there's three adults "sharing" the one car we have until I can get a job to get Carl to cosign so it will be on my credit rather than paying for my mom's car (that she gave to me because she thinks she doesn't need it) and not get any credit for it!! I just don't think I'm meant to have a car!! LMAO That was my third car in 7 years *laffs* Once again congrats and enjoy the newness My yay is this is the last week of school till jan 14th!! wahoo!! then its class time again on tues and thurs starting the 15th. |

Yay, Lindsey!!!!! That car sounds awsome! Tell Johnny I said to let you drive it NOW. lol White is one of the colors I like for a car. I only like a few, with black being my favorite. But white would probably be next, then silver, then pewter. (like the Mustang pewter color)
Mine sits in the garage with it's cover on most of the time. I don't get it out much in this kind of weather. And it's just easier to hop in my truck and go. I do miss my amps though. Figures that the best system is in the vehicle I don't drive much. My truck has a 6-disk cd player, and it's nice, but we haven't upgraded it. My "upgrader" moved to Mulberry.

I still haven't gotten to drive it yet and I'm really ticked at the state right now. It was tagged, registered, and licensed in my name. I had johnny's name on the title but he was listed second. Even though I got the tags and everything on the other car last month, my tags still expired this coming up april. Go figure my last name starts with a c. Unfortunately, if they had listed my name on the paperwork to the new car first I could just put the old tags on it and drive it around for 30 days no problems. As it is, we've got the old tags on it, but if we get pulled over we'll get a ticket for bogus tags because I'm listed first on them and Johnny's listed first on the paperwork. How messed up is that? And it's almost 1000 bucks for the sales tax, property taxes, and tags... plus since we bought the car in Missouri, we have to pay for another inspection at the Sheriff's Department and all of this has to be done in Girard which is over 45 minutes away. As soon as we got this car, Johnny keeps making up excuses why Gene (his ex carpool buddy) can no longer take him to work. This week he screwed the pooch though cuz he said last night and the night before were Gene's nights off so now I'm going to make him ride with Gene. There's no reason for him to be taking the car when he can save on gas and ride with someone else. Plus he gets off work at 8 and all of a sudden he's not coming home until 10 and has to jump right in the shower before even saying anything to me. Then he's here for maybe an hour if that and he's got to run to the store. He comes back and in about a half hour he's got to run back to the store. We're not even half done with christmas shopping and he had to go get his hair cut yesterday. He smelled really pretty when he walked in this morning though reminded me of CK1 which he doesn't wear. He wears Phoenix. He doesn't have to be at work until midnight but he's leaving about 10:30 to 11 and his work is less than 10 minutes from here. Something's up. I'm starting to hate this car. But it's not the car's fault, it's his. |

YAY!!!!!! I passed my classes, 2 A's and 2 B's!!! Now I hope I can do the same if not better in the spring, thats going to be tiring being at school from 10:45 A.M. to 9:05 P.M. But should be fun, web design, html, introduction to computer science information and technology. along with the mandatory, College level English and My last basic course period, the second math then on to statistics next fall!!!

i love you got a car linds...that is so awesome...i hate the cost of it already peeking its ugly head in the picture...in NC we have our tags for one year and each year that time we have to renew..not by our names. but yeah i am sure your just as excited about wanting to drive it as johnny is..he needs to figure it out lol.
and the grades are awesome star..keep up the good work!

Way to go Star!!!! Those grades are awesome!! I'm amazed that you can do so well and still have your family to take care of and on top of all that you manage to squeeze in some time for us!!
We get our plates in Indiana based on our last name, no matter when you bought the vehicle. You can transfer one and pay a prorated fee until your name month rolls around. Then you pay the regular yearly fee. They're all going to get it one way or another. And don't even get me STARTED on property taxes!!!! Our assessment went up AGAIN this year, so that means our property taxes will go up. They DOUBLED two years ago. And nothing around here has changed. The assessor just decided we could all pay more. grrrrrrrrrrrr

good job trish!!!! I know you're gonna be plum wore out when you go back and you're in school for that long every day... poor William. He's gonna be missing you, as if you're not gonna be missing him too.... that's probably gonna put a strain on things since you'll have so much you have to do for school and not very much time at home to do it, but I know you're up to it
keep us informed girl! you're doing an awesome job and before you know it you'll be graduated with a degree under your belt!!!

Well, my mom accidently forgot she had bought me a Family Guy Monopoly game for Christmas, so she gave it to me this morning. It's pretty funny, it has spaces on it like: "Volcano Insurance pay 10% or $200" "Pope Mobile Price $200" "Chris's Closet price $60" "Channel 5 News Price $90" I think I'm going to have fun with this today |

Haha, that definitely sounds like a good time-passer. I've never heard of Family Guy edition for Monopoly...but then again, why am I not surprised? They've come out with everything from Spongebob to like McDonalds, right?
