Haha reading break starts on Friday (after classes of course) but I am leaving today! And really my reading break started yesterday cause I didn't end up going to either of my classes. Its great cause I go home 2 days before most of my friends and than I leave this coming Wendesday with some people who are crashing in my dorm so we can go to the Rascal Flatts concert on the 22. Im stoked!

Oh you are so lucky Kristin! I love Rascal Flatts and would love to see them in concert, but Hawaii is kind of get of the way for most bands so we don't get a lot of opportunities to go to a lot of concerts. Again you are so lucky Kristin!!!!!!  |

Thanx I am pretty stoked. The seats arent that great... but w/e its called contacts.
On the wednesday night when i get home i won a limo package to one of my favourite bars in calgary, cowboys, so its western, so you get limo there and back, VIP and some free drinks, and its a fire fighter auction that night... haha It will be grand.

Okay so I have some yays and a boo!! First of all the spring semester is OVER!!!!!!! 4 more weeks till summer begins!! Second yay, I wrote a persuasive essay for the last one we had to write for ENG 1010. Well...... my teacher is also a proofreader and thought that my 14 (now 15) page essay should be published!!! I'm psyched but I'm scared to because I do not want people finding me and giving me a piece of their mind about how schools shouldn't require parenting classes to graduate. My argument was to put parenting classes in schools so these young adults know how to take care of infants in case the need arises, instead of being ignorant and abusing the infant. Third yay, After completing my first full year at PSTCC (the school) I was asked to be a student leader/ ambassador!!!!  I'm happy about that, I start that tomorrow getting paid 9.85 an hour, the only down side to that is we only get paid at the end of the month! Lastly my boo, I didn't make it on the dean's list because I was 2 tenths away from having a 3.5 I have like a 3.35 GPA when I seen my final scores, I got 3 B's and 2 A's *sigh* maybe next semester!!! Anyways, I thought I'd spread my good cheer |

Thanks so much Kris, I feel great accomplishmenrtr when it comes to school, I'm so proud that I've been able to do this when I never thought I could!!! And to be a Student Orientation Leader on top of everything else.........MAN!!!!!!! I'm so nervous about our first orientation, but they are only every other week I think thats what they average out to so it's not so bad, as long as I get past the first one!! The only downside to being a student orientation leader is that we're basically coming from scratch and most of this week it's been just me with the exception of one girl that came in on tues and today to help with the idea of what information should be in the student packets, and one other girl came in yesterday to mail out the cards. Next week is going to be crunch time getting 175 folders together with pens and other school logoed stuff. Whew!!!!! Glad I'm not taking classes right now, it is nice to come home and not have to study!! |

I'm on summer break, but I'm still really busy. I'm trying to find a job, I think a temp agency might do the trick. Although, I am looking into being a camp counselor at a music camp, that would be good for me cause I can get some experience teaching. I will have a labtop with me so I should be able to stay connected with everyone. Also, if there's anything you need for the guild, I should have some more time on my hands now so drop me a line and I should get back pretty quick.

i was contacted yesterday about returning to the radio station to work on the air. then today a couple of the other DJ's contacted me wanting me to come back and fill in a spot that is now open....so i guess i am going back to work at the radio station starting tomorrow but only a 2 hour shift...then this fall do the air time and sell advertisements for the station. not sure i am ready to return to work full time til the kids get a bit older but sells i can basically work my own hours. i'm excited its a fun job!
